Why do you think he is much better then Bledsoe? He hasn't even played a full season in the NFL. Why in the hell would you even make that statement. Look at what Drew has done in his career and look at what Romo has done in his career. He has done jack shit to what Drew has. Now Romo might end up being a better quarterback in the long run, but I really doubt it. I see him have a few allright years and then going away. But of course I could be wrong and I have been wrong before.

Romo may well be a damn fine QB. Just let someone else hold for kicks.

Bledsoe needs an A+ line in front of him........or he needs to backpeddle while reading the defense like Fouts.

Brad Johnson needs a better than A+ line.......shotgun snaps only....... and
HGH. The Steelers staff can help him with the HGH.

I agree! Too many teams keep holding on to these old quarterbacks thinking they are going to perform at the level they did in their prime, but it never materializes and some even embarrass themselves in the process. The Cowboys did the right thing in releasing him and going with Romo.

I absolutely agree. I can't believe we held on to Johnson last season. I would love to see Carr, or Quinn at the helm this year.

Shane, you are right about one thing. Only time will tell how good Romo is. But your wrong about the rest. Right now, there is not a single period of 10 games played where Bledsoe outperformed Romo, using any methodology anyone wants to use. Not even when he was still good. So, the point that has been made is ... it really was a no brainer to go with a young Romo who looks like he could be the real deal, rather than stick with a guy who although he has thrown for a lot of yards, and has had longivity, also has a lot of negatives even when he was doing good. And he wasn't doing good anymore. Even the great QB's have to retire.

See so some people DO agree that it was good to let Bledsoe go!!! Cowboys cant keep the same guy forever!!! Sure Romo may have made mistakes, but give him 2 years and I bet he'll be great!Just give him time!:)

In my opinion, by what I've seen, Romo is doing alot better as a QB than Bledsoe. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.
