I was wondering if anybody has heard anything about what Drew Bledsoe is going to do this upcoming year? I haven't heard a dang thing about it and I really hope he doesn't retire and I hope he gets a chance to start somewhere next year as well. Right behind Peyton Manning, Drew is my second favorite quarterback of all time. Good luck in the future Drew.

I haven't heard anything and I'm getting quite impatient too. Drew is no doubt a great STARTING qb. Every pass play Romo had to roll out because the stupid cowboy management spent their money on a ball droppper instead of a pass protector. Good luck Drew!

I would guess any team needing a QB is going to wait til after the draft to see how things shake out there. If someone signs DB, they will do so for veterans minimum. The needing teams can afford to wait.

I check in every day to see if there are least any teams speaking with Drew, and I havn't heard a peep. Maybe some discussions are under wraps. The fact that DB has not announced his retirment might be a good sign. We'll see what happens, more likely in late April/May.

I would love to see Drew get a starting gig somewhere, and it is plain there are places that could certainly use him. Trouble is they invest so much money in draft picks and untested QB's they feel they have to stick with them. Drew has the misforture of being labeled a statue, and though he is a far cry from a scrambler, it is important to note that some of the O-lines in front of him have been less than stellar, to put it nicely. Like someone else said... perhaps once the draft is said and done.

Drew IS a statue. So what. What scrambling QB's have won Superbowls.

Pocket presence is another thing. It does appear that DB has lostsome of that over the years, but I still feel he could probably succeed with a decent OL. He did in Buffalo in 02 and in Dallas in 05.

What about Chicago? I would love to see him go there!

Jerry Jones and the entire OL needs to go screw themselves, their not worthy of having anybody as good as Drew Bledsoe.

P.S. I hope Jerry sticks T.O. up his butt.

I don't think Chicago will take him... for some reason they believe Grossman is their guy. They are saying last year was like a rookie season for him... plus they have Griese on the sidelines. Although Drew is an upgrade to both I don't see it happening. It's going to happen after the draft and after a team doesn't get Quinn. Where ever Quinn doesn't go I see Drew going there... Minnesota could be tops on the list.

I would also like to see him play again and I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Oakland. (I'm a N.E. fan) Even if they take a QB in the draft, they probably won't want to start him as a rookie. He has experience (as a mentor) and enough in the tank to give them a chance to win. (and to do to Randy Moss's career what he did for Terry glenn)

No doubt Drew will be back. He is to stubborn to go out on Parcell's and the Cowboy's terms. He still has plenty left with a decent O line and knows it. If anything else, he will return to watch Dallas implode this year under Romo ( now that NFL teams have the book on him). Good luck Drew and thanks for bringing the Pats back from the football dead.
