We do eat QBs for breakfast in Baltimore. Billick likes to pour sugar on them to disguise the sour taste. One day we'll have a solid QB...I hope Boller comes out of nowhere and shows that it's him now. That way we can draft a corner next year instead of a QB. Ha ha.

By all means ---- bring on the Browns.
They have a weak defense and the Ravens can surely beat this club.
McAlister may well be optimistic, but he should not endanger his career by coming back too soon.
Maybe Deon Saunders could sign for the last few games and give all the fans some real thrills.

Seriously, the Browns are very weak at rushing the QB, and I look for Boller and the RAVENS to have a very big game this weekend.

We still have an outside shot at the playoffs.
Let's not get discouraged.

We went on a longer win streak last year. It's sad that people just give up so easily. I'll be there cheering the team on as usual.

Oooops, you have to beat opponents in order to get to the playoffs. If you can't beat us or the Brown's or the Bengals, you won't make it to the playoffs. The truth hurts, but it is what it is, truth. 4-5, and PROBABLY 4-6 after tomorrow, is not the way to get anything but a top pick in the draft. BTW, Boller is a wash, you will see. If he is the future, then why did he draft so low? HMMMMMMMMMM...

Ummm - I do believe that Johnny U was drafted 9th by the Steelers (and was released). Sometimes it's the later drafts that make the best players as they are more hungry to prove their worth.

You gotta be kidding. As weak as the Browns defense has been at times this year, the Ratbirds offense is pethetic. The only way you can match up is with the long ball, which the Ravens don't have. You might try quick outs to the TE, but that won't work all day. You have no running game, matter of fact you gained very little by replacing Lewis with MaGhee or whatever his name is. You can't beat the Browns with a average RB and no deep threat. Not to mention your play calling. The Browns still have to beef up thier "D" and so do you. Stop living in the past, your team is old on "D" and O-line . If you can't score 40 you lose the game and your season is over. Nice run though i enjoyed you for a few seasons now you are has beens.

Ouch, yeah, what he said. I couldn't have put it any better. But one thing is for sure, you CAN pick up someone late in the draft (let's say in the 7th round in 2005) and let them prove their worth. Or you can put him on the practice squad and let another team give him his shot at the Pro Bowl. Seems to be working out real well, don't you think?

We will see in a few hours.
The NFL has a goal of parity.
The Browns did a nice job of patching up their offensive line in the offseason, and this is the main reason that they are improved.

If any franchise lives in dreams of its past glory --- then it has to be the Cleveland Browns.
Jimmy Brown, Otto Graham, Bill Willis, Lou Groza, etc.---
they were once Perennial NFL champs

Fifty years later?

The Browns cannot match the toughness and speed of the Pittsburgh Steelers. We have a Browns team that cannot beat Pittsburgh.

I hope the Browns keep improving so their loyal and great fans can be rewarded --- someday in your lifetime.

The comment was on the Ravens not the steelers. Yes Pittsburgh has the Browns number this year, and control the division, but the Ravens are bottom dwellers. The difference is the Browns sucked and admit that have sucked. The Ravens and thier fans who inherited a team from Cleveland and went on to win a SB are now in denial. Cleveland can talk about the old time greats because we do have a history, The Ravens had a store brought team with a 7 year history or something like that. The Browns are on the upswing the Ravens on the decline, face it. While you toot the Steelers horn, you should note they are beatable as was proven last week. They have weaknesses also and the playoffs will be tough for them, even if they face the Browns.

So, haven't the Browns lost 9 or 10 in a row to the Steelers?

They do not match Pittsburgh's speed or toughness.

The NFL wants to see parity in the league and they want to see all fans paying high prices and buying NFL Ticket on tv for gadzillion dollars a season. Feel free to toot the Browns horns and feel free to put down the Ravens.

In fact enjoy your freedoms and be thankful you are here in the USA.

The Browns and the Ravens seem evenly matched with Todd Heap out of the lineup.

With Heap playing, then the Ravens win this game, but the two franchises seem to be headed in the opposite directions.

Don't kick to Cribbs.

Maybe we are having a failure to communicate here, this topic is about the Ravens and Browns. What does the steelers, freedom and living in the USA have to do with this. Are you just reaching for some solice or trying to sugarcoat the foot you have stuck in your mouth. I said before the game, the Ravens needed 40 to win. I also said the Ravens "D" isn't much better than the Browns and MaGahee was not muuch that much of a upgrade from Lewis. To sum it all up, "i told you so". If it helps any, We left some cheese in the AFC north basement to go with your whine.

If you were smart, then you might know that nobody cares what you think. Nobody cares what you say or said.
