On draft day, they gushed about how smart Allen is. Well, if he's so smart, how come he still hasn't learned the system? He's been with the team three months now (plus all the "pre-camp" workouts before training camp opened and the holdout began).

Joe was sitting there quiet and cool, because that's who Joe is, but we knew he could be getting ready to talk back real soon. He had every right to, showed nothing but deference and respect for the unfair decision, but even that was misplaced. Joe was the real sleeping giant. The big voice that we needed. That the team still believed in, that when he spoke about it, we would believe him. Joe should be our skipper for more than this season. We all know it. South Florida get up at the football and basketball arenas where the fans still come, "Rehire Joe," Have the whole stadium scream it during timeouts to make the place go wild with Joe's team spirit and so that they can finally hear what we want loud and clear. Wade seems to need the lift, too. Cheer for it. "Rehire Joe!" Tell them we'll come for the Girardi Marlins. It's just no Fredi's time, this time, it's Joe's. He earned it in the only way he should have up until that very last game-winning hit. He turned them in the right direction and it was up and that just looked real good on our team this year that was supposed to go nowhere but down. "Rehire Joe." Scream it at the top of your lungs everywhere so that they know there is still unfinished business here. While he's still here for us. Because it doesn't seem they heard us yet. Not even by our media who should be more sympathetic to what we have been put through. An owner who sabotaged a playoff run through his personal leaks and agenda. Purposefully disrupting their morale with blackballing tactics that still continue of dishonoring our skipper, our teacher of rookies, their father-figure and friend. Does it really take a genius to figure out what happened here, this outrageous affront to baseball itself? Oust Jeff Loria for it. We have the grounds. The Dodger game, him blatantly looking for a reason, on September 22nd, him releasing a leak that would blatantly disrupt their ability to perform on the field and it did. How is a willful vendetta against a first year hero, icon for our team on the field in a heated play off run not as bad as betting, not as purposeful as the guys on the field making a decision to throw it themselves? We know the slightest thing in a guy's head can affect his ability to hit, catch and throw. I still can't work and I just watched it all go down from Chicago! "Rehire Joe," and oust Loria because that is what he deserves now. That is the degree in which he has abused our trust and baseball's trust. Don't stand there and say nothing and let the 2006 Girardi Marlins down, containing some of the most profound moments in our team's history, lost to the most sleaziest of methods by our management. Because that's the only thing that will make them really comeback and do it again. Jeff Loria is not a fit here and has lost our trust in every respect. Don't get ripped off of more meant to be Marlins' moments like this year. Fight for what you want for your team right now. And if you weren't in the stands during the games because of threats of relocation and fire sales, or the past 2 years of hurricanes, please be there for them now. Don't just say you're not going to go. Fight harder. Make them hear you. "Rehire Joe. And we will come back." I'm sorry, it's not personal, Fredi. It's just not your time. Just think you can be sitting there one year for the Bobby Cox job, though. And Joe and the guys, they say, "Bring it on."

Daunte needs to go!!

Saban should bring Allen in to blitz a few times. Jason is good at this, and he can't blow a coverage like he did in preseason.

How hard can the system be? All these damn rookies have attended callege and are also addicted to nintendo/playstation games that i'm sure are a hell of a lot more complicated than Saban's defunct system!
Everytime we blow the damn game, it is off of a deep coverage "mistake" Maybe if our offense didn't suck we wouldn't have to depend on our defense so often. Plus, I can't wait to sweat my ass off watching the game tomorrow.. its probably are only strength these days.. the SUN |

Dear frustrated fan,
Don't forget to take two paper bags. One so people don't see you there, the other is for puking. |

I don't know how you can say "then why was this guy rated so low by the other 29 teams." 29..What happened to the other 2 teams...? There are 32 teams in the league. How do you know he was ranked so low, just because he didn't get drafted by any team ahead of the Dolphins or because teams have other needs besides a FS..? If Matt Leinart would have fell to the dolphins, would you be saying the same thing... NO. You would be like "we got the steal of the draft." Just because he hasn't cured cancer yet he's a failure. The long haired fellow in the Steel city didn't play his rookie season & look at him now.(Not saying Allen will be a Troy P, but give him a chance!) As for Saban's draft choices.... Ronnie Brown, Matt Roth, Channing Crowder, Travis Daniels, Derek Hagan, Donnie Jones, John Denney.... All but 2 were picked up via the draft, the other 2 were rookie FA's. They don't ride the bench and they are still with the team. Add Jason Allen to the in the next 2 games & you have a very good core of young players. |
