Sad, just terribly sad. Not a whole lot more can be said until more information comes to light on this tragedy.

I'm not quite sure why the Bentley is germane to the tragedy.

If there are no charges Stallworth will still be traumatized. I don't see posts on other forums
taking this into account. It is a terrible happening
for all that were involved not to mention families loved ones, etc.

One would hope, but my money says that a lack of information won't stop the racists, haters and all around mean people that tend to frequent these boards. Just watch.

What the hell has "driving a Bently" have to do with anything. I guess the reporter can only afford a Chevy.

Thoughts and prayers....

Man, these atheletes have been having bad luck lately. Boat accidents, car accidents...they should train somewhere farther from the Bermuda Triangle.

Arnie couldn't be an American white supremecist ... he hasn't been in the country long enough to learn the language or understand the definition of 'racist.' Have another, buddy!

Where did this info come from? Wrong side of the road? You could just as well be talking about the pedestrian.

It's hard to have sympathy for a 28-year old with three condos in Miami alone driving around in a Bentley.

With that in mind, it's hard not to think it was reckless behavior (e.g., drinking while driving) rather than simply a tragic accident that could happen to anyone. Someone like that clearly thinks he's above everyone and everything, including the law. See Cedric Benson for details.

NFL player might be relevant for news purposes, but driving a Bentley? Come on. Can we say "pandering"?

Why is it hard for you to have sympathy for a 28-year old with three condos in Miami alone driving around in a Bentley? Those things that you mentioned are only material possessions, that have nothing to do with the young man's character or humanity. And nothing in this story even indicates that his conduct was reckless. There is no indication that he was speeding, drunk or on drugs. And there is certainly nothing in the story that indicated that he thought that he was above the law, because he waited for the police to arrive on the scene and he gave them samples for drugs and alcohol; which seems to indicate that he had control of his faculties and the police did not arrest him, so they must have concluded that he was in control of his faculties. So unless other information comes out, this appears to be just a tragic accident.

Finally, you need to go ahead and face it fellow; you are just a jealous hater, who is wallowing in misery that several young black men have more material wealth than you. Well you are not alone, because several other idiots that posted equally stupid crap as yours are haters too.

Agreed. Nor are the three paragraphs about Stallworth's contract, stats etc.

Someone is dead. Who really gives a rat's rear end about football now? Except for a complete moron, perhaps.

I hate to say it, but he's probably been in the country long enough to learn English in US public schools. That would explain his errors, though his post was not anywhere near as bad as many when it comes to the written word.

Sure, a Bentley comes with an alcohol addiction as standard equipment, along with the matching attitude.

And the old Pinto you drive, CubFanBudMan , comes standard with a brain vacuum that is probably the only thing still functioning fully in yours.

Right,'cause "Driving a Chevy" just doesn't sound as pompous.

What an irrelevant fact.
