Michael Vick is seeking reinstatement to the NFL. This coming after commissioner Goodell stated that remorse might lead to Vick's reinstatement.
Email commissioner Goodell at [email protected] or phone him at (212) 450///2000 or (212) 450///2027, and let him know that you do not support the reinstatement of Vick.
Pete Rose was banned from baseball for life for gambling. Why should Vick be reinstated and allowed to profit after he let innocent Bullys be maimed and killed under his charge?
His prison sentence was too short, and his bankruptcy allowed him to keep things that other people are forced to let go, and now he wants to be reinstated, because he says that is the only way he can pay his bills.

I have never hung a dog by a nylon cord and cut it up. I have never killed a dog much less a multitude. I have never financed a gambling operation then told on my friends.

I know. My family was not perfect. but my father taught early that we are responsible for our pets. When i had my cats and dogs, he often reminded me, YOU are responsible for them. For this I am grateful.Of course when i was smaller, they would help me. I see people in the city letting their kids try to chase down the pigeons and kick them. I can't understand it.
But THIS is good news
The owners of the Jets and Giants have no interest in signing Michael Vick now that the disgraced quarterback has finished his federal dogfighting sentence.

Giants owner John Mara and Jets owner Woody Johnson were emphatic in saying their teams’ quarterback positions were filled and they were not even considering signing Vick, the former Atlanta Falcons star who ended a 23-month sentence on Monday.

Eli Manning has been the Giants’ starter for the past four-plus season, with David Carr serving as his backup last season.

The Jets job is open with Kellen Clemens set to battle rookie Mark Sanchez for the right to replace Brett Favre.

But Johnson said the Jets weren’t interested in the 29-year-old Vick, who spent the final two months of his sentence under home confinement.

"We’ve got Kellen Clemens and now we have this young Mark Sanchez, and I think we are good on quarterbacks," Johnson said. "We’re going to stick with what we are doing now. Kellen, this will be his fourth year, so he is ready to go, and Sanchez is pretty exciting."

When asked if the Giants had any interest in Vick, Mara said, "On a lot of levels, no."

Mara added there wasn’t even a discussion or debate in the front office about Vick.

Mara and Johnson made their comments after a ceremony that inaugurated a new rail service to the Meadowlands sports complex where the teams are building a new stadium to open in 2010.

Vick's actions were cruel in the extreme and we're supposed to believe, now, that he suddenly sees the error of his ways? I don't believe in his remorse for one second. NFL should punt this POS for good.

That picture should be posted on every single vick thread for those that think dogfighting isn't such a bad thing. Vicks face should be superimposed so everyone could see what he'd look like if he were made to fight the way he made his dogs fight.

Why are folks forever posting under my name? Oh well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I guess, but, for the record, I don't think Korean kitchens or Eskimos should be banned.

Yes, Ban everyone who uses dogs for food or slave labor.

Ban blind people too. Dogs just want to have fun, not baby sit a person who cant even see to wipe is own ass.

I have two dogs that will perform with me during my helicopter maneuvers now.
