Linebacker spot still a puzzle for Vikings

The regular-season opener at Washington is still nearly four months off, but the Vikings' offensive and defensive starting lineups seem all but set -- with one notable exception.

Middle linebacker is going to be a major problem this year unless some one emerges. I would like to see either napolean harris or dontarrious thomas for the position. You need size and speed to shed blocks off and run people down. Footbal instincts maybe the most important skill to have to play the posistion which I am not sure either on has alot of. Hopefully someone will emerge. Outside linebackers we are OK.

napolean harris is taking the starts on first team during minicamps and ota's, and to tell you the truth i dont think hes leaving. harris has proved he can be a legitamate threat at middle linebacker. as for the others in the hunt, they havent proved to be anything but dissappointing.

joey that sharper topix was started on packer forum...i was wondering why there were so many packer fans responding...so i checked...unless you want to take on there forum,stop responding and the topix will fade down the line...

or you could pull a double-agent....go into there forum under different name and act like a fan at first and then start dragging down the whole team...piss and moan all day about the teams weaknesses.....then in the end proclaim your new team...the vikings....then when they come to are forum,throw all there post in there face....twisted is fun....(:

I figured it had to be on the packer forum also. If there defense is so good why take a huge chance on Woodson and give him all that cash? Now Harris is pissed off. Its funny how the pack fans cling to #5 defensive ranking like it actually means anything.

well they lost there defensive cord..woodson hasn't really lived up to billing....also the d was rated 7th according to street and smiths profootball magazine..these publications come out about this time every year and cover upcoming season with predictions..packers have tried to upgrade there d for this year,but i find it hard to believe they were rated that high last season...didn't look that good to me....anyway when i checked there forum these guys are thinking they'll be in miami...they got some funny comments to one another....ah the pre-season.

I went through the schedule and in my opinion I don`t see but 3 or maybe 4 losses on there.Barring injury that is. But I do bleed purple so I`m a little bias.

Joey, i bleed viking purple, but i'm the one that's reasonable about the team this year. Sean Salisbury said today, Brad is efficient, but can he get through the season. People are bringing up the fact he is always hurt. It looks like they don't want to pay him starting money. Shouldn't that tell use something.

Salisbury is a doofus who never shuts up. Brad has a signed 3 year contract from last year. He plans on honoring unlike Culpecker who cried for more $$$$.

look dumb dumb...go to the star tribune and read the articles..there is no such facts as you state...however being he's being paid quite lowly that will probably change...brad johnson is not complaining one bit.....and with your previous comments on are viking qb (not yours) you have lost your right to comment at all...like joey said beat it.
