Lets trade everyone good we have except JT (we need some incentive to go to a game or watch it on tv) collect draft pics for this year and next, save cap room..... just start over.

trade our 9th and DC or Harrington or anyone and move up one or two slots to make sure we get Quinn....

Keep Rick off the grass and he is gold.

Pick up a quality starter Green could be it- Keep Harrington for 2nd string

Get rid of Culpepper unless he stay on as 3rd string.

Beef up the line - this all equals good shot at
divisional title

I would suggest that the Dolphins not enter into the FA market this year. Renegotiate contract with current players moving move of their salary to this year so that they make less in the years to come (effectively allowing us to get to the cap this year without taking on bad contracts AND allowing us to minimize the amount of cap space our current players will use in the coming years.

Create draft picks by either trading down and/or trading players for draft picks.

Don't try to make a big splash this offseason, make the smart move and follow my advise ;)

The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that Seattle and Miami are the leading contenders to get OG Kris Dielman. Cam knows what an outstanding player he is ... ditto Houk.

The Dolphins were offering a lot of money for the Chicago center a few years ago and his wife said no, money is not always the answer to building a good team, I say find players who want to live and play in Miami and the money will be work out. Bill

Ricky is done, history, the best playing years are behind him, Buh-Bye! Ricky couldn't hack it in the Canadian league, amonst injuries and the inability to run the ball. He even had a wider field to run on.
Ricky is still better than any RB in the NFL, except for LT!

I want a nice boring draft - offensive line, defensive Line, cornerbacks - that's it. No Quinn, No Ginn Jr. No "skills" guys - maybe trade up to get Joe Thomas - but that's it. Maybe smarter to trade down to get Levi Brown. I want a killer O Line and let Ronnie and Ricky run it all day long. Free Agency - Steinbach and Dielman - the only must-haves. I like Trent Green - but he got absolutely killed last season and may never be the same. Always liked Damon Huard and always thought Phins should have kept him. Trade Chambers, keep Booker & Welker, give Hagen one more year to prove himself.

not enough draft picks eh? Why not try to trade some of the dead weight
Yeah , like Chambers and McMicheal. Busts that enough teams might see value in because of their hype.

Should be another typical bargain basement year for us....
Have the Dolphins ever signed a marquee Free Agent?
the answer is NOOOO.....
You don't have enough cap room to sign a marquee Free Agent ... not at the prices they are commanding.

Cameron: "Aggressive patience."

Mueller: "By aggressive, I guess that means we're going to be involved in a lot of deals."

"I guess?" "A lot of deals?"

Mueller: "We need quantity over quality."

Mueler: "I wish we had a bunch more picks."

Mueller is a regular Quote Machine.

What does it all mean?

hey jimmy the idiot......the reason the dolphins haven't signed any marquee free agenst is idiots like JJ, WannSUCKS and Saban destroying our salary cap by signing overpriced and overaged free agenst in hopes of winning now. With only 10-15 million in cap room compared to 40 million that the 49ers have its hard to sign a marquee guy when other teams can grossly overpay them.
Chris Dielman, Eric Steinbach or Leonard Davis....the fins need to sign one of these quality offensive lineman available then draft Leon Hall, CB out of Mich. or Allen Branch, DT from Michigan.
Regardless all you idiot fin fans need to shut up and support your team and coaching staff for a change. Be thankful we are rid of the Napolean like dictator we had cause it finally seems like we are moving in the right direction.
PS.....PLEEEEEEEEEASE, WHATEVER YOU DO IN THE DRAFT PLEASE DO NOT TAKE BRADY QUINN. THAT WOULD BE A HUUUUUUGE MISTAKE!!!
I agree with the first part of you statement but then your Michigan fan ignorance came out.....Leon Hall?? Toasted in the big games...not the answer....we need to draft a young QB people and I for one would love Brady Quinn

This is not as bad as it looks. Randy could trade down 2 or 3 times and still land this kid from Mich. St.(Slaton, QB) and get several 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, round picks as well. As far as Indiana goes, I don't care who the coach is. That school is not going to beat out Penn. St. Ohio St. and Michigan when it comes to recruiting. You can't hold that against Cam.
I certainly agree with Joe about Cameron, and the trades. Finally a Dolphin fan who makes sense. Not like the previous skeptic's comments before Joe's.Obviously they weren't Dolphin fans in the 60's when we went through the losing seasons prior to Don Shula.GO PHINS.
