Interesting that Harrington is still on the team.
I wonder if a trade or a restructuring is being worked out!

Sounds good so far, seems the dead weight is starting to be removed though Carter was a player I liked because of his positive leadership this team has to move on and get younger in some positions.Hope this summer in camps they figure out if players like Vickerson, Alabi and some chosen others can start contributing. Does anyone know if Tillman was cut loose? He sure needs to be.

Has anyone heard anything down there about Rodrique Wright? He was an animal in college and slipped to the 7th rd last year beacause he needed his shoulder taken care of. Everyone talks about Vickerson, but if he is healthy Wright could be the answer.

The Fins will be looking DL in the Draft, they have too. They were way to old at that position. K.Carter was a great player and will be missed. However, the Fins have to go young. R.Wright will be a starter next season. also look for Tank Tyler in the draft the kid is a monster.

Hopefully Harrington is renegotiating his contract and will stay with the Fins. He showed more than any other QB last year.

Kevin Carter was still productive player and a leader on and off the field. I didnt really know how much of a class act he was until i saw some of his interviews. Kevin Carter is a great lockeroom presence and will be missed.

But i do understand the youth movement we need to do, and im not completely sold on the hick Matt Roth yet

Donnie Edwards or Joey Porter would be huge upgrades at the LB positions. It time for Miami to see what they have with there young DL prospects, so I have no problem with them letting some of the veterans DL guys go.

Agreed!

What's the cap price for Joey? I'd like to see him stay and compete with Cleo for the 1 2 spots. I CPep comes around it's a bonus but he can't make hot reads and go through his progressions - we'll see. You gotta think Cam can work one of the 3 into starting material at least for a year. We need OL and DL most of all.

Harrington's contract says the Fins don't have to pay his bonus until the 5th day of Free Agency. The Fins will cut him on that day. I wasn't sold on him. Cleo put up the same, if not better, stats as Joey and he costs less. Randy Mueller has said they are evaluating personnel based on performance vs cost.

I would have kept Kevin Carter. He's still has 3-4 years left, wanted to stay, and would provide DLine leadership after J Taylor retires.

I can hear it now..."2007 is a rebuilding year, so don't expect this team to be a contender"

Why are we not getting more cap space by cutting Olindo (I have an excuse why I missed that FG)Mare

I agree with James. I think Harrington could do really well with a OL line and one more good WR. Rickey could help.
