With so many punters and kickers botching holds because their hands are not so great, when are teams in the league going to wake up, and put a guy there who catches the ball for a living.... like maybe a ummmm.... I dont know.... A RECEIVER!!!!!!!!!!

I never heard of any other Fish kicker worrying about the holder. This is a bad omen.

how baren can the news be when this makes for a story.

i held in high school, and it is not a very trying position requiring lots of athletic ability or skill (although i was quite skillful). put cleo lemon or beck out there and move on.

For all the crybabies out there bemoaning the selection of Ginn and Beck over Quinn and whoever...( I know it has nothing to do with this article but I like to stir stuff up!)
The good: A dynamic playmaker with the talent to change a game with one play. He should have major impact in the return game as a rookie. He is the best return specialist I have ever scouted - even better than Devin Hester, who draftinsiders.com rated last year as the top returner in the past decade. As a receiver, Ginn has become one of the better deep threats in the country. He displayed the special burst of speed to get behind the secondary and hit the home run. He is smooth and very quick into his routes and cuts. He has the ability to create consistent separation in his patterns. His release off the line of scrimmage is very good, and he eats up the cornerís cushion fast with the ability to retain his speed through the break.
The bad: He needs work on his strength and hand use to better fight off the bump-and-run from physical cornerbacks.
Outlook: Top-five player and an excellent addition to a passing and return game. Teams like the Texans, Bucs and 49ers have him on their short list for the first round. Ginn is a spectacular playmaker with the talent to become the biggest impact performer in this class and an NFL
star. Future Pro Bowl performer.
Found on Yahoo.com NFL Draft Page..interesting scouting report on this young man....

This is the PERFECT time for a Marino comeback......as a extra point & field goal holder.

He could zing it in for a touchdown or two on some trick plays !!!!

What'cha think ????
