How is it that Eli Manning is so 'tentative' as a passer, and decision-maker. What is it about the highest paid player in the NFL that makes him so 'unaffected' when it seems he obviously has some accuracy problems. Maybe it's better to stay 'undaunted' in the face of adversity...but getting a bit 'worked-up' can motivate others. It's getting to the point where other teams see Eli as one of the 'weaker links' in the Giants line-up, and they're successful if they don't buy into the 'hype' of his salary and media. Consequently, maybe that's a motivational force for opponents. My 'Giant wish' is that Eli 'quickly and accurately' finds Nicks and Barden as his 'priority receivers', and uses them to the team's advantage. That would open-up the possibilities for Smith/Hixon/Boss/Manningham and the running game. Hopefully the defensive backs will 'come alive' as well.

The Giants core of receivers will eventually gel, the bigger question for the team is the defense side of the ball, especially with Rocky Bernard, Fred Robbins, Antonio Pierce to name a few who are out with injuries....those are plagues one can't coach to health on either the practice or playing field.
