It's unbelievable that there are still people out there who think T.O. will somehow be different if he's on their team. To think that Chicago will benefit from a player that has been literally thrown off three NFL teams already for destroying their team chemistry is laughable. It appears that the author has so little regard for the Bears that he thinks they can't be any worse, so why woryy about destroying what they have, Too bad.

Born a Bears fan, and from a family of Bears fans I hope that Chicago does the smart thing and grab Owens. Owens gives them a better chance than without him, mainly because once again he has something to prove. For crying outloud, grab him ad take advantage of his notoriety.

P.S. I could get the bears a Super Bowl within 2 years.

I couldn't have said it better myself! I can't imagine someone I would want on my team less.

This is the exact same crap article you wrote YESTERDAY. After 181 negative comments directed towards you and your ignorant article, you chose to publish it again, with a different title, and a date of March 6th????

Is this seriously what Trib resorts to these days to get traffic?

This guy is poison in the locker room. Create dissent among teammates, egomaniac personified, not worth the trouble he creates. Great receiver, terrible teammate.

You're wrong on this one Rick. The only team that will sign T.O. now is the Raiders. Everyone else knows better now - except maybe you.

I have to agree with the others. T.O. is poison to any team. But if he wasn't, the opposite is true that the Bears are poison to talent. I always felt that had the Bears gotten Montana, Rice or Warner, they would have died in the system. On that note, I can promise you no Bear QB will be talented enough to get Owens the ball enough times to make a difference.

I grew up in Chicago, and I currently work in the sports media in Dallas. Avoid Terrell Owens like the plague. He's a cancer in the lockerroom, but not only that, he's a shadow of his former self on the field. His 3-year stats in Dallas look good, but over his last 19 regular season games, he's had only one monster (vs. San Fran this year, 7 catches, 213 yards). Take that game out, and during the other 18 games he averages 4 catches, 52.6 yards. He's simply not as productive as he used to be, AND he's cancer. Stay away.

The Bears could use TO is is still a beast but the Bears also need a QB top notch to throw the ball and they lack that... I don't know why the Bears are so pigheaded when it comes to getting a top QB ... but with that and TO they would be on thier way once again....
