"Many Chicago Bears impress coach Lovie Smith in off-season" - So what, so what, the fact he can change TV channels with a remote probably still baffels the guy.

It doesn't take much with this coach.

If you don't get a DUI, don't beat up your old lady, don't get caught at a strip club doing something indecent, this coach is IMPRESSED.

Release Ogunleye and start Gilbert. That would IMPRESS me.

Ogunleye is waaaaay overpaid for what you get in return, and how many times did you hear No. 93 called last year? Ogunleye disappears in the middle of games. Play the kid immediately. Could be the steal of the draft.

It would impress me because Angelo would come to the realization that another of his free-agent signings was a bust.

Agreed....best case scenario....Gilbert has a great camp, impresses Lovie enough to package Ogunleye in a trade for a receiver or draft picks....really pulling for Steltz to make the leap this year because I have no faith in the new guy Buttocks, er Bullocks.
