A well-deserved honor for a guy who, was, in fact, The Reason the Bears won on Thursday night – regardless of the attempts by Kyle Orton's fan club to try to make their guy into John Elway Jr. for his "late game heroics."

I never understood Special Teams, nor do I understand football for that matter, but in a nutshell what does Special Teams mean.

i think that hester has lost confidence and manning runs harder. With that being said, i think that hester and manning should both be back there waiting for the chance to return. We should have kept our Special Teams Captain and hester would be sprung a lot more. I think that hester doesnt want to get hit anymore, so he runs out our falls. Manning is trying to stay on the team, so he is running with a cause. Good for him

i feel that special teams is the most important aspect of football. I gives and takes field postion to a team. If you can cut the field in half then your chances of scoring are increased. The bears have lived on special teams and defense, we are lucky that they had a back up plan for hester.

Good for him. I'm glad brain dead Lovie finally woke up and realzized Hester was hurting the team. Now, Manning still has a looooong way to go to warrant his high 2nd draft pick. Blame that on the brain-dead, in over his head Jerry Angelo.

You do mean how he cleverly tricked N.O. into two pass interference calls on over/under throw passes late in the game.
