Finally another Auburn player makes the roster. After loosing Marcus Washington it's been a long dry spell. Hope he can mature as a Colt. WAR EAGLE!

What happened to Craphonso Thorpe? This guy shows a lot of promise also. I believe he can play!

He appears to be quick and fast with decent hands. i think hes definitely an upgrade over moorehead. but i think the colts have known for quite sometimes that marvins not coming back. theyre using him in a manner to keep opposing teams from defensively scheming to shut down just wayne. but ive been impressed with gonzalez lately. but i think marvins done for the season

I agree with you, I like him as well. Craphonso was injured. That is why he did not play the last weeks. It is said that he will see some play this week

I agree. The post-Marv Era for the Colts may have begun. Long Live 88!

exactly MATTE41(TOM MATTE) i think the post marvin era is approaching and i think theyve tried to address that possibility. the thing that bothers me is theres no one for peyton to groom. jim sorgi? no no no no....i think they better start preparing for that time to come as well.

Peyton failed to reach 4,000 yards a couple of years ago as well (the price of clinching early), so there is no consecutive streak on the line.

I was impressed by Aromashodu as well. Moorehead had one spectacular catch in a pre-season game a couple of years back that had me boasting about the Colts depth at wide receiver - but when given a chance this year he looked lousy. He looked so stiff and awkward, I'm wondering if his back was bothering him the whole time.

There is no point in prepping to replace Manning, unless you know where we can line up another all time great. Every player they draft and every contract they tender is predicated on having an exceptional QB. The transition back to normalcy will be excruciating. Lets hope Peyton decides to match Favre for longevity.

Yeah, in 2005, Manning threw for 3,747 yards, which broke his six consecutive seasons with 4,000 yards. Dungy has also said that he doesn't want to give teams in the division hope for next season, so Manning and healthy starters may be in for the whole first half. Needing just over 350 yards, it's quite possible for him to finish with 4,000 yards this season.

I like this guy- he seems to have great upside, and when playing, he doesn't look like a last-resort player.

Oddly enough, his play makes me think of how I dreamed of Roy Hall playing- fast, strong, aggressive, and with surprisingly good hands.

Assuming Harrison DOES come back, I can see him being a superb 4th WR... much better than Moorehead.

You guys don't know what you're talking about....Marvin is still a top receiver and you will see him in the playoffs. He is one of the most fit, athletic guys in the league and until this year he has rarely been injured. He has plenty left in the tank. He's said himself, he could play many more years. The Colts are probably doing what they did last year with Sanders, benching him until the playoffs and using his return to give us a little boost for the playoffs. Trust me, the Marvin era is NOT overwith.
