I think it's kind of entertaining that this is seen as a problem. While Hawk hasn't set the world on fire with his play over the last few years, he's been very solid and reliable. The fact that the Packers might actually have someone potentially better than him can only be seen as a good thing. If Smith or Manning are able to come in, outplay Hawk, and earn his starting job... that's a good problem to have, because Hawk's been if nothing else above average at his position. I'll bet there are 20 other teams that would love to have this problem.

It should be easy to find someone to compete for Hawks starting position.......the guy sucks. He is not even close to an above average LB.

I feel the same way. I actually do not have a problem with Hawk. I know he didn't tear it up last year but really who did? I remember when our Dline was strong and eating up blockers and all our LBs and Woodson were flying around the field making plays. I think if the Dline play improves so will the LBs and DBs.
However I read we may play more Dime this year which means Hawk will be the LB coming of the field.

LMFAO! This coming from a guy who refuses to acknowledge the Bears have no Oline at all. Not one AVG player.

Cuntler has been destroyed over and over forced to miss many games costing the team any chance at all at greatness. But hey never mind many teams can win with no Oline and a lil girl for a QB...Or maybe not because the past 2 years have shown the Bears coming up short compared to the Packers. I guess that is why they have a 'mandate' to catch the the PACKERS, because they are inferior, but we have been over that! Right?

Honestly though packluv how do feel about the Bears Oline?I bet you are not worried at all...

Least the Bears had an a reason to lose. They were doing great until Cutler broke his hand. We knew the season was over.Packers choked at full strength!

LOL “reason to lose”! There is no ‘reason to lose’ HA! Same excuse every year for the Bears LOL!

Is Cuntler’s injuries the problem or the Oline that gets him killed? Which is it? And how do you see the Bears Oline shaping up this year? See I heard they still suck.

I always thought that being the Bears was their reason for losing. It sure seems to be.

Not a highlight film, but, near 100 tackles per season and doesnt miss many games,so not a bad problem to have.If someone can unseed him, then let him go and save the cap space ( we will need it to resign Jennings,Mathews,Rodgers,Raji at a not to far distant future)IF not, well,we still end up with a SB winning LB who calls the plays on defense.

If you lose ARON RODGERS this year due to injury and you lose out, you dont think thats the reason you lost? lol.

I don't know that never happened to the Packers. I would have to watch those games before I could make that type of statement wouldn't I?

I am sure you would say that is why if it happened, if Rodgers goes down they have a 'reason to lose' like you put it. In your logic backup QBs are not able to win games anyway but you rag on the Packers for not having a better back up? You sound very hypocritical or very confused!

So now tell me more about the Bear's Oline! I would like to hear your thoughts. Do you think they can keep Cuntler from being killed again this year? Do you see another year with the same ‘reason to lose' that we have seen the past two years for the Bears?

Contract are not guarrenteed so trading Hawk would be doable.OR,if Ted decided to let him go,his contract is null and void.As for sucks? i seriously doubt that.
He performed a bit under for the 6th pick,IF Hawk was a mid 1st round or lower,he would be a great pick, but,at where GB was at the time,Hawk was the obvious choice.

Losing Cutler wasnt your problem, losing Forte was the killer IMO.
IF you remember, when Cutler got hurt in the NFC championship game, the 3rd stringer grossly out played Cutler (yes that was 2 seasons ago but).Rodgers is a top 3-5 qb,Cutler is MAYBE among the top 10-15 best qbs and that's the difference

Ted has done it before and will again.Speaking of finding a RB,hows yours? Still refusing to play for Chicago?Since AR has missed 2 games since becoming a starter,id say hes pretty versatile and tough as a qb can get.

Like I said before, why do you bring up the backup QB? If Rodgers goes down and the Packers lose it is all good they have 'a reason to lose' as you stated above. No team should expect to win with a backup in your eyes and losing is ok if the starter goes down. SO who cares about backups right?

I still think it’s funny you concern yourself with the Packers RB and backup QB all the while the Bears are missing 5 AVG Olinemen :)

Has he signed his franchise tag? Is he going ( at this point) to be a hold out?You have way to much to worry about to be concerned.I do get that the Packers are a major threat to Chicago but..

Here ya go Packluv here is an analysis of the Packers roster as of now, I am sure you will find it interesting since you seem somewhat obsessed with the Packers. I don’t know if it is envy, jealously, or some type of man crush you have on the whole team. Enjoy!
