It is good to see an NFL person applaud the College coaches for helping Students athletes stay in school and get their valuable degree. They should keep track of each class of recruits that leave school early and track their salaries and their longevity in the league. If this information was provided to these athletes it may help them to stay in school, get their degree and be prepared when their NFL career comes to an end or just in case it never begins. What happens if they declare and are not drafted? What if they are drafted and play one year or are injured in their first year and can never play again? They have to know the reality that is out there before they make this decision.

Dumb,Dumb, Dumb if you were not gona get paid next year, they should at least stayed in college. The owners most likely locking out the players next season there will be no pay day. I would have stayed in school.

It is so disappointing to see young men get lured into NFL and then go bust. At least the NFL has a somewhat sensible system. The NBA is such a joke and needs to change their system. At the minimum, adopt a system like the NFL.
