Upon first glance of the headline, I thought we got KC's DJ! We really need help in the secondary. I hope this cat can be successful for the Phins!

they acquired Derrick just to fill in DB to put an extra body to push other's in camp. They should look at one of my homeboy Julian Battle out of Kansas City then was traded to Washington after two injured seasons with K.C.he still has what it takes just had bad luck like alot of these DB's out there!! So coach Cam or anyone knows how to get hold of anyone in Miami's org tell them to take a long look at Julian Battle he lives down in West Palm Beach, FL

Some food for thought on the Trent Green situation:

GREEN WILL FORCE KING CARL'S HAND

Quarterback Trent Green wants out of Kansas City. The Chiefs are ready to move on, too.

But G.M. Carl Peterson wants to get a fourth-round pick from the Dolphins for the guy who no longer will be the starting quarterback of the Chiefs.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Green will force the issue by reporting for the team's voluntary Organized Training Activities. The risk? If Green suffers a serious injury during the workouts, the Chiefs will owe his full $7.2 million salary for the 2007 season.

The Titans were in the same situation last year with quarterback Steve McNair, and the team opted to prevent him from working out at the facility. McNair filed a grievance, won it, and was eventually traded to the Ravens.

Schefter also reports that the Fins might move off of their offer of a sixth-round pick for Green.

Our guess? Peterson will cave soon, and the teams will meet in the middle for a fifth-round selection.

This guy is nothing more than roster fodder to push some other hulking DB's to get into the mood. Let's be real here. Why the H would we want some undersized (5-10) DB anyways? All the really hot new WR's are 6-2 to 6-4. It'd be like shooting chickens in a barrel with this undersized DB out there. Oh yeah. I forgot. The'fins drafted an undersized WR in Ginn. Great pick. Not.

You started out just fine Gary .... this is truly a 'camp body' at CB. Then you lost me by bringing up Battle. Julian would certainly be best at safety. I don't have insight as to why JB never stuck with anybody. He certainly was a very good athlete coming out of Wellington h.s. I always thought he'd be a college RB. The family attempted to 'piggyback' JBs brother into the JUCO, and the brother wasn't the same caliber player as Julian. I always thought JB was an NFL caliber athlete so perhaps there's something that doesn't meet the eye, that's caused people to give up on him.

Let's see, why would they want a 5'10" CB .... Perhaps to cover a WR in a nickle. I would be shocked if this guy turns out to be anything but camp fodder, but I think you'd be surprised to see how many CBs are 5'10". FYI: Many slot receivers are under 6'.

There is no reason to give up a draft pick for Green, he will be here with out that draft pick going south, make KC sweat, and he will come to us soon enough. Bill

If Mueller gives up a draft pick for Trent Green he should be fired on the spot! The Chiefs will be forced to cut him soon; just wait it out.

How tall are Champ Bailey, Deion Sanders, or Darrell Green? Now how tall is Lenny Walls? Height is TOTALLY irrelevant. Look at the vertical leap and speed of a CB before you look at height. If you don't know football, don't post. You've hung yourself once again. You remember your Steve Smith-Ted Ginn post which you ripped off of someone else, right? Height matters not.
