He had my total respect until he played the retirement game last year.
Terrific player, but a sore loser...

Sure is easy to slam his former team and fans- the ones that stood by him during his addictions and during years of interceptions which cost championships. So long, trailer trash. You showed your true colors a long time ago. He never mentions the "commoners", the schmucks who bought his jersey and paid to see him play.

Brett Favre is a class act all the way. I don't fault him for wanting to play another year last year. He never turned in retirement papers last year and you don't need to be a genius, or David Letterman, to figure he wasn't going to quit playing. This year the papers are in and it looks like he's enjoying himself as a legend. Good for you Brett

if i had my pick, i would rather have boldin. but the vikes are trying housh and im not real confident in him being good in minnesota just because he is really good at running those option routes and chilldress doesnt run too many in his offense. maybe he will put some in there for t.j.

Interesting how the packers' management traded favre to the jets completely without favre's say at all..nice way to treat a player who's given 16 years to the organization, opposed to thompson's and mccarthy's 2-3 years. hmm.

Brett has done everything. He holds ever major record for a QB. But, he is still very capable of one last feat. Something that nobody else has ever been able to acomplish. Go to Disneyland in February, wearing a purple jersey!

So, let's see Brett... You were mad that the Packers didn't hire the coach that you wanted, and you were mad that they didn't sign the players that you wanted. Now you finally admit that you're mad because they didn't get the a-ok from you about the trade that you were strongarming them into. Well, now that you're almost 40, I think it's time to grow up!

actually he wanted to be released so he could pick his own team. but ted thompson and the fudge packers didnt want him in minnesota because they knew he would kill them because he is used to throwing to the guys in purple. the really funny thing was that when they traded him to new york, they made a clause in that deal saying he couldnt be traded to minnesota or they lose like 3 draft picks.
