Two days after being released by the franchise he gave 14 magnificent seasons, linebacker Derrick Brook was at Tampa Bay Buccaneers headquarters Friday morning to speak to his emotional exit.

The Buc's just made it really hard for all of us fans. How they cut him was terrrible. It's just not right, I still feel sick. He shouldve been allowed to leave on his own terms and offered a position on the coaching staff if he wanted to do that. Derrick we love you man and wish you the best of luck in the future.

I love bucs football benn a fan in the bad times and the good times but how they did mr brooks was sad they could have worked him into a lesser role as captian and a bigger role as menter to some of these young kids he still has alot of game left in him i belive and his knowledge of the defence and the opposeing teams could have served the bucs alot but they just let go its shameful its like they have no respect for his knowledge and passion for the game he can still contribute alot they want to go young thats good but you need somebody with experence to lead them if it was a money thing i belive mr brooks would have been willing to work with them i belive his love and devotion to the team has been seen over the years i think today the teams have no concern for the players or the fans its all about the money what happened to showing alittle love for the players fans arent just about winning the also care about the men who play the game i think tampa forgot that i mean to just throw him and the outher guy out like an old shoe is sad to me he still has a lot to contribeute to the team well in a nut shell i didnt like the way you ahve done outhers like dungy sapp macfarlin ect i got over it but this is to much so i want you to know that tampa just got releaste buy me as a fan iam now looking for a new tean that i as a fan can resect and belive in and approve of the way they treat there players sincely a football fan
