Bring that piece of [email protected] to Cleveland - turn him loose in the Dawg Pound. What he did is unforgiveable. It's not a disease like drug addiction or alchoholism, and he still sees nothing wrong with what he did. What kind of scum gets off on watching two dogs maul each other, until one dies? There's no room on the EARTH for such trash, much less in the NFL.

I would think that the Steelers are at the very bottom of the list of teams that could use Vick, along with likes of the Atlanta Falcons or the Indianapolis Colts. There are several glaring reasons why.

As Mort said, "two-time Super Bowl champion QB Ben Roethlisberger." Enough said...and we already have two acceptable backups in Dennis Dixon and Charlie Batch.

Also, we aren't too fond of criminals. Remember, we got rid of both Plaxico Burress and Joey Porter a few years ago. Oh, and we don't like Ray Lewis too much either.

He gets a free pass because he's obviously innocent you idiot. There are so many glaring holes in this CIVIL suit. Yea something may have happened but it wasn't rape, this chick just wants money, hence the CIVIL suit, and no criminal case has been filed. Sounds like someone who just wants money to me.

I don't think that all the sports pundits are saying that Vick would be a great fit for the Steelers, more that the Steelers would be a great fit for Vick. Two completely different viewpoints there.

The Steelers would provide the stability necessary, from the owners down to the players, to help keep Vick on the "straight and narrow" while he transitions back into a life in the limelight.

Also, the Steelers could sign Vick with little to no repercussions as to a drop in ad revenue or ticket sales. The Steelers' fanbase in incredibly diverse, and while a good number would undoubtedly berate management for signing Vick, many fans would also see the value of signing him.

Obviously Vick would not be competing for a #1 QB spot in Pittsburgh, which would delegate him to a third string at worse. He could be very dangerous in a variety of ways such as slot receiver, and multiple positions the way the Steelers used Stewart and later Randle-El. However, Dennis Dixon can easily fill that role as well. That is precisely why I don't see the Steelers signing Vick.

What does Ben's race have to do with any of this? And who are THEY? What wants Vick to replace Roethlisberger? Your entire comment makes no sense
