Yeah, I think the skins may have saved the Ravens from themselves on this guy.

They didn't over pay for him...he's signed at a pro-rated $1mil deal, so roughly $500,000. Why didn't Ozzie push harder for this? Half a mil for someone who Lewis & Co. could've gotten in line? I understand that he could've caused some problems, but it would've been well worth the risk because he also could've been a shut-down cb for us. Oh well.

DeAngelo Hall is a glutton for punishment. Two Sundays ago, he was thoroughly embarrassed at M&T Bank Stadium. On Su. 12/7 he'll be back for seconds.

GO RAVENS!

Gotta feel the same way. At $500K he'd
have helped us finish this year strong. Remember, he's played in 2 really poisonous environments the last 2 years (the Vick-gate, Petrino-gate Falcons of 2007; and the ever-insane Raiders). With help from a good NFL defense like ours and the new positive
team climate in coaching and player leadership, he might have been reborn w/ the Ravens. C-Mac is now done for the season & maybe for good, Rolle is still a question mark, and Walker & Washington have been adequate at best. Hall would have helped get us through the year and then been part of a major re-evaluation/overhaul at cornerback that is going to happen anyway

I dunno how I feel about this one. I've watched him since his VT days, but as of late, his mouth makes bigger plays than he does on the field....we don't need a guy like that. We got a good thing going on here.
