Manning proves he's as super as brother, Peyton

Move over Peyton, there's another Super Manning. Younger brother Eli completed the impossible of impossibles when he drove the Giants 83 yards in 12 plays to the winning touchdown and a 17-14 Giants win in one ... Full Story

Bottom line is Eli is lucky he didn't blow it for the Giants on that last drive. He certainly came very close too doing just that. In fact, fate intervened.
Asante doesn't miss interceptions like that one... On this throw he did. Adalius doesn't let QBs go, on this occasion he did... Eli then throws the ball up for grabs and the receiver makes an amazing catch (Harrison usually doesn't miss those either)... The final TD Eli threw was a pop warner play, he was wide open.
Luck is part of the game, the Pats got lucky in some of their wins in the season. But that last drive wasn't luck, it was pure devinity intervening! Hahaha.
Well i would take Lucky over what Brady has, Lucky won. As far as Pop Warner, you are right, they knew that the Patriots D wasn't even as good as a Pop Warner D and proved it. Now I would shut that penis Holster because everything that you are saying is what the 3 teams that lost to the Patriots said. The Patriots will forever be remembered as a team that couldn't execute when it mattered most. Seau was right, he is part of Ever. This is toooooooooo easy, like shootin fish in a Barrel

The Giants defense is the real MVP.

As far as the Patriots are concerned... Yeah, it stings. People are realizing here though that we are very spoiled in our sports. We have 3 Super bowls in 4 years, 4 appearances in 7, 1st team to go 18-0 in NFL history, best QB in history, Red Sox have won 2 of the last 4 titles and the Celtics are 37-9.

So, yes its true we can't claim to be unbeaten, but holy Shizzle!! We came closer than anyone before!! It is good to be a sports fan in Boston these days!

GO PATS!!!

For the first time since the Celtics back in the 70's they have something worth cheering for. It only took the Patsie's 40 years to get good. It took the Red Sox nearly forever to be something worth cheering for ( curse of the Bambino ). Then they see there coach, QB, and best wr all act like a bunch of sore losers and they have to act just like them. Especially with "SpyGate" looming!

Its ok, We where the rebels that started the American revolution 200+ years ago, seems times don't change which is just dandy with us!

Don't hate on Boston sports, our reign will end soon. It can't last forever. Until then, I am enjoying the ride!

Still in denial I see, your reign ended 2-3-08
Manning played better than brady, Manning avoided the sacks, brady did not.

Nope... The Patriots are still the team of this decade hands down. The Red Sox have won 2 titles in 4 years... The Celtics are playing awesome. I would say we haven't gone anywhere yet.

By the way, as much as it hurt to see the Pats lose the Super Bowl, they are still second in this area to the Red Sox.

Very true, to both counts. As for the latter, it wise of you to recognize that, and please enjoy!

As for the former, you are correct. Can't re-write history...something I tried to warn your fellow fans about.

Here's to 2008! We're both at 0-0 now.

You need to let the Celtics and the Red Sox know that.

I like the Celtics....Hope they win, used to like the Red Sox a little until ESPN got on the bandwagon. You would think that New York and Boston are the only 2 teams in baseball. Yet My cubs sell more tickets every year than any team, that is with an avg sized stadium. Watch out for the CUBS....it's their year (of course I have been saying that my whole life).

We here in Boston feel for the Cubs, they remind us of us from the past.... If The Sox are out of it, I will be rooting for the Cubs!
