For the Philadelphia Eagles, the mission became a little more clear, and a little more urgent, at just about the time Eli Manning made like another No.

Sometimes you have to throw out some cash to get things done. The Eagles should use the extra money from T.O. (As little as it ACTUALLY is) and put it towards a playmaker, while focusing on O-Linemen in the draft. McNabb still isn't 100% from his injury, and I am a believer he will be so much more effective next year, as he played well the last few games of the '07 season.

I do not want D'Mac to go anywhere. He looked great in the last 4 games of the year. He is going to be back to his old self this season and I feel with him being healthy and #36 and a few more on this team, we will be able to take on anyone from the east easily next season.True Eagle Fans know this. The rest don't know crap so let them jump off our wagon and find another one to jump on.(ummm like the Gnats?)

max jean gilles, winston justice, todd herremans--we don't need offensive linemen. think about this--i suggested drafting justin tuck, a few years back, and last year i suggested moving up to get laron landry-- both players whom would be PERFECT for jim johnson's system. with tuck, you have your compliment to trent cole on the edge, and with landry you have your heir apparent to DAWK in the secondary. the eagles need to start drafting obvious playmakers, or start to re-evaluate how they rate talent in the draft, because last years' draft was a complete waste of time. my other point is this, if the eagles are serious about needing a playmaker in the secondary, at LEAST reach out to asante samuels of the pats. money might be an issue, but can you imagine him with the squad!! yep, super bowl!!

Love this line:

"And if you're scoring at home, the tally board now has the division's other three teams with at least three Super Bowl victories apiece. The Eagles, meanwhile, still have lots of room in their trophy case"
