A Giant Upset! My Super Bowl Thoughts

"We're only going to score 17 points?..OK" That was Tom Brady's response to Plaxico Burress' 23-17 Super Bowl prediction last week.

I am neither a Giant or a Patriot fan, but rather a Packer fan. I must say this was a great Super Bowl. SOOOO many story lines evolved from this one game. The Catch2, Manning, Brady's injury, the Giant Defense, the Perfect Season! Wow!
One reason the commercials were disappointing is that for once, the game was better than the commercials. Many Super Bowls have been a bust in the past, but this one was a great game period!
It will be very interesting to see how the Patriots handle next season. You have to image, they are very disappointed and may suffer a significant let down.
As for me, I am looking forward to seeing if the PACKERS can improve on their season. Think about it, they came within an overtime field goal of being in the Super Bowl. With lots of cap space, maybe a couple solid draft picks, Brett and a more expierenced team. Who knows!

Completely agree. Dallas right behing them in 2nd place IMO, but like everybody knows.........in the NFC just get in and you got a chance.....

On another note.........everybody is genius after the fact........nobody was making fun of Brady after his comment right after it happened, why? b/c they thought they were going to score 20+ too....

I'm a 'fins fan, so the loss was music to my ears.

I thought the Pats had it won when they scored with less than 5 minutes left; I was shocked to see the Giants move the ball down field and score so quickly.

Definitely one of the most exciting superbowls I've ever seen.
