Bill is a cheater. The reason why the Patriots lost is because they thought they didn't need to video tape the Giants. I'm glad they didn't. The 72' Dolphins it still perfect!!!

I agree with tex that it was the catch that was most impressive. Yes, it was a very good play by Eli to evade the rush, but I remember a quarterback by the name of Fran Tarkenton who had a couple such "scrambles" every Sunday.

Eli evading the grasp of at least 4 defenders was key,if he is sacked then the catch never happens,Tex has a valid point, but if Eli is dropped then the games out come may have been different, luckly it was'nt, great play ...Eli.

That has to replace "The Drive" as the new "The Drive" If Eli gets sacked on that play they probably don't win the game. So that has to be "The Play".

I think it is one of the biggest upsets in sports ever - any sport. But I put the jets upset of the colts as the biggest in the NFL and right behind the US hockey team upsetting the USSR as the biggest upset in sports history.

The jets upset was so important because it really forced the merger of the AFL/NFL.

Can't wait for the draft and next season.

See you next year. Your Dolphins will go far with Henning as your Offensive Coach. These are the type of loser moves that will keep you from competing with the Pats for years to come.

This was a major upset, but hardly the greatest upset ever.

Bricker, even you were unable to determine a Giants victory especially with 35 seconds left. Be a man and admit your mistake.

Miami Dolphins, get ready for another loser season despite the new staff.

What I hate about the Patriots is that Tom Brady smiles too much, the defense celebrates too much, Bob Kraft talks too much, and the coach is just not a snappy dresser. They came into this game as thought it was a coronation of their greatness and instead got their tails handed to them. They can spend the whole winter hiding in their homes. The Giants wiped the smiles off their collective faces. Oh, and by the way, Bricker is a lousy sprts writer. I would never marry him.

Enough. Now let's have some championship games WITHOUT overpaid losers from Boston or New York.
Overpaid losers from NY? How about the fact that the Giants won with a bunch of rookies playing key positions and picked up hardly any free agents going into the season. They were even widely criticized for not getting free agents to fill some of those key positions. Giants used the draft smarter than most other teams and picked up some real good players in the later rounds.

Manning scrambles reminded me of Montana in the Superbowl against the Bengles. Anyway, I thought BeliCHICK's act was selfish. He found a way to get the spot light back on him. What kind of leader abandons their team at a time like that? Tyree's catch was god like... it could have led to serious injury by the he landed on this back. The remaining game time from 1:40 to 35 seconds was the greatest EVER!

It was worth having a NY team win just to knock off the Bastin Pats.

Sounds like another pundit trying to convince us that its really not a big surprise...I mean after all an entire 12.5% of ESPN "analysts" actually picked the Giants!

So come on guys, this really isn't a BIG deal. I mean it isn't like the Patriots almost had a perfect season or the most prolific offense in recent memory or something...we totally called it, but no one paid attention to us.

So I guess we'll just go on kicking the dead horse about it for the decade since it wasn't a big shock.

18 wins and one giant loss, Eli had the best defence that day and he didn't show me much, he was very lucky. The MVP should have gone to the three guys on the defensive line.

I agree about the D line....
However lets consider that when Eli was pressured and damn near sacked, he scramples and completes a pass. brady, well he just got sacked, again, and again, and again......get the idea. My QB was cool like the cucumber, yours look lika horse that was rode hard and put away wet.

Did you watch the same game as I did. Eli did a great job but he almost threw numerous interceptions and one caught the ball on his helmet.

WHATEVER! This was without question the greatest upset in Super Bowl History. No team has ever gone into a super bowl undefeated and come out as big a loser as New England...NO ONE! 18-0, are you kidding me...and the play - both Manning and Tyree making spectacular plays to put the giants in position to win the game....Easily the best game ever played and the biggest upset in superbowl history.

You know what, I can live with another loser season just knowing that the Pats got their Azz kicked in the biggest game, with everyone watching. We can argue about the catch and the scramble, but the Giants Defense spent the better part of the game kicking Brady's Azz...priceless!!!!!!!!!!
