Great game...exciting from beginning to end, especially if you wanted the Giants to win.
I think the greatest greatest SB upset was the Jets victory over the Colts in '69. Absolutely no one gave them a shot and that victory completely changed the league. Joe Willie didn't "hint" about his team winning...he guaranteed it and then delivered! After that game, I couldn't wait to see a particular upper classman in high school who gave me nothing but aggravation the whole week before the game. He was strangely silent, as I imagine are many Patriots fans today. Oh well...18-1 sounds better than 19-0. Just ask the Dolphins.

The most exhilarating and by far BEST FOOTBALL GAME IN HISTORY. It was "EDGE OF THE SEAT" excitment. All along, the Giants were picked to lose, only one true grit football analyst, none other than Mike Ditka had the gumption to pick the Giants. YES THE GIANTS. Eli's coming out party. He grew up right before our eyes over a course of 11 of the greatest ROAD WARRIOR football games I have ever witnessed. Culminating in SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS 2008. GO BIG BLUE, THIS IS YOUR TIME. THIS IS YOUR MOMENT IN HISTORY. Many small records were set by this team. BUT WHAT THE HECK THE BIGGEST OF ALL WAS WINNING THE LOMBARDI TROPHY. This team had heart, courage and determination TRUE GRIT. TO DREAM THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM AND TO BEAT THE UNBEATABLE FOE.. THIS GLORIOUS QUEST IS COMPLETE NY WE HAVE A CHAMPION AGAIN.

Starting from 0-14 down to Buffalo in Week 15, this was an awesome run with contributions from every player. The snow in Buffalo, the heat in Tampa Bay, all those all-pros in Dallas, the freezing cold in Green Bay, and finally the 18-0 Patriots. None of them stopped this team.

The best upset in NFL history? How about the biggest win in the history of ALL SPORTS!?!? What the Giants did this year was remarkable. Johan Santana to start the week... Giants ending it. You can't ask for better if you're a NY sports fan.- MetsFanClub.com

I had my doubts. I had my frustrations. I didn't think they would win a playoff game let alone the Super Bowl. I didn't think Eli had it in him. But thru it all, I am glad and happy for the Giants and their triumph.

I have to admit that this team certainly performed beyond my wildest expectations. And while I was sure they were never going to get beyond the first playoff game, they scripted a Hollywood ending for themselves and us as well. Maybe Dolan could hire Coughlin to coach the Knicks...

Just want to say that the Patriots should have won the Superbowl. They had the best record and deserved the title.....the Giants winning was just plain LUCK!!! Let's go Jets!

I am a die-hard Patriots fan, but I have to hand it to the Giants. Congrats, all you Jints fans, your team played their hearts out, our team was out-played and out-coached. Nice going! Enjoy the ring, you deserve it!

See you next year!

I hate the Giants.....they won only because Tom Brady was hurt. The Patriots didn't disclose his injury which prevented him giving it his all. If Tom was healthy, it would have been a New England blowout. Eli Manning is a homo, Tom is a real man!

The game sucked! Eli threw a lucky pass at the end. The Patriots are the true Champs and were robbed!

Robbed? They robbed themselves. Their offensive line sucked! The Giants D did exactly what they should have done at exactly the right time. Brady didn't get the job done.

Actually, the Pats are the WORST TEAM TO FINISH 18-1!! HAHA!

It was alot more than eli's "lucky throw" at the end that one them the game. How about that Giants' D? They made it a little tough for brady to throw when he was lying on the ground. The pat's didnt convert on key situations that went their way. The interception, the 12 men on the field, holding on to the football during the fumble, were all opportunities for the pats to put the giants away and they couldnt.
