He never deserved it. the guy is either a marshmellow or a swinging door. the vikings would do well to rid themselves of this piece of crap.
He has proved himself by not being able to block anyone of sub-talent.

Dave, This was a funny story.. If I could have found a funny face, I would have pasted it at the bottom....On another note.. The "Super Bowl.. Am I going to watch it? H-ll No! If the game was decided by the players on the field, then maybe..As the NFL Championship "game" has shown, the game is decided by the Incompetent, Blind, arrogant "Game Officials" as to who will "Win"..Also, watch the so called Pro Bowl? Nope.. I will go ice fishing.. Walleyes and Northerns are biting..Maybe I will see a couple of Vikings there.....

how true.

You'd think Roger Goodell must be taking advice from Bud Selig.

I'm a huge Viking fan. I didn't vote for him this year and don't ever plan on voting for him in the future. He's a huge pylon, easily run around by defenders. Get rid of the BUM!!! What an embarassment.

I dont blame him. He is still a joke. The PB is a joke. The refs are a joke. The commissioner is a joke. The fact that I am wasting my time commenting on this article amkes me a joke too.

McKinnie has been an overrated head case ever since he came into the league. Why the Vikings put up with this is beyond me.

The Pro-Bowl practices last for 45 minutes, no pads or helmets...yet this clown can't even be responsible enough to show up. Wasn't he one of the "Love Boat" players?

Time for the Vikings to do the right thing and trade him to the Raiders for a 7th round pick. He just about got Favre killed in the Carolina game.

With his salary, he's probably not trade bait, so an outright release may be what's best for the team.

This is the first time I have laughed at a posting in the MN newspaper sites since before the NFCC. I think the posters who are saying the McKinnie should retire or get traded, should save their anger for Goodell. Let him retire. And with him those incompetent (maybe dishonest--check their banking accounts) referees of that game last week.

I won't watch the stupid Pro Bowl.

I won't watch the Super Bowl either. I am sick of football. I just hope that there are more funny stories to read, like this one.

The man likes to party---the game's a joke anyway. Half the players in the game will probably be lit up from nights of hard partying, drinking and drugs in South Beach, where anything goes if you have enough money!!! Party on my man!!

McKinnie really didn't care about playing
because he was only there for the party part...
who really cares about this game ...it
is only for show...scheduling it before a SB
is really stupid ...why should a player
risk injury in a game that doesn't count for
anything anyway?..the refs are a joke and have
lost all credibility as far as I am concerned
because of missed crucial calls in big games...
paying to see a game like this is a bigger joke...

Thursday at 5:50 p.m.:" I'm in the car heading 2 The W for this fashion show. Gotta pick up my homie real quick."

That twitter doomed him. Mount McKinnie played at Miami, so of course his ‘homie’ is more than likely a bunch of acquaintances he hasn’t seen in a while.
If they could move Loadholt to the left, he could be history.
