“Combined with returning receivers Arland Bruce III, Obed Cetoute, Patrick Johnson, Andre Talbot and Chad Rempel, David adds another powerful weapon to our receiving corps.”
- The Toronto Argonauts shored up their receiving corps Monday by signing former Pro Bowl player David Boston.
The six-foot-two, 228-pound Boston was selected in the first round, eighth overall, by the Arizona Cardinals in the 1999 NFL draft. He also spent time with San Diego and Miami before attending training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006 and reaching an injury settlement with the club.
"I'm extremely excited to come to Toronto and compete and hopefully win a Grey Cup championship," Boston said in a statement. "I'm thankful for the opportunity the organization has given me and I'm looking forward to being at training camp." Read more
