Priceless afternoon yesterday. According to Reverend Pluto, all we needed was an OL and everything would fall into place. Chaz Frye would blossom. We'd start to beat good teams. Well? Now we have Steinbach. We drafted Pluto's boy Joe Thomas. We've spent millions on the OL. And what happens? The sieve continues. Joe Thomas is horrible. First of all, he's built like a tight end. I havent seen arms that small since before I went on the juice. Hey Joe, you might want to mix in a bench press every now and then during your "training regimen". And of course (just as I predicted in March) Adrian Petersen looks like the real deal. The line sucks because we have no coherent gameplan. There's no underlying philosophy. How many more expensive OL free agents do we have to sign before we stop pointing the finger at the players and blame the coaching? It's a team completely in disarray. Look out for 3-13!

3-13 at best.

Keep Quinn on the bench for the next few games and let the two slap-dummies (Frye and Anderson) take the beatings.

I was a season ticket holder from 1979 until they sold us out in 95. I was asked to be a guest of a current season holder for yesterday's game. Boy have things ever changed at the new stadium.

1- a 70 year old friend was carded trying to buy a $7 beer.
2- a season ticket holder yelling "run the football" was asked to keep it down. Maybe Tiger was about to putt.
3- Smokers without a way to gain re entry into the staduim were being issued citations. I would have thought the quality of play would have been deemed illegal.
Ahhh I miss the days of seeing people wiz in the sink, smoking anything they wanted in the stands, throwing dog bones, and seeing quality football.

It's about time Lerner cleans house including Romeo. I've been a Browns fan for over 45 years and this is the worst I can remember. Just another sad fan from Wabash, Indiana.

The Browns-Steelers game is no longer a rivalry. The Browns should find a decent high school team in NE Ohio to be rivals with.

Did anyone notice Romeo nodding off on the sidelines during the game? I swear his triple chin was resting on his man-boobs and his eyes were closed. It's bad enough we have a grossly obese coach, now he's actually taking naps between plays. It's embarrassing to have such a fat ass representing the Browns. It looks like Fat Bastard has rubbed off on Grantham too. He looks about forty pounds heavier than last year. Disgusting. Much like the Browns offense. Man it sucks being a Browns fan.

Training camp, new coordinators, new players, same old. Yawn.
Team is just taking lumps through extremely difficult first part of season, then when it gels as much as it's going to Quinn begins his career in another write-off year.
Too bad Michigan Wolverines aren't on the schedule!
This team and coaching staff couldn't beat the Wolverines if they tried! Pathetic!

Right now, this is easily the most pitiful organization in the NFL. As the tv camera panned the Browns' sideline during the debacle, it appearred the only person that was close to having a pulse was the defensive coordinator and that everyone else was just cashing a paycheck. The Webster's definition of "pathetic" must have a picture of an orange helmet next to it.

There's a Crennelephant on the loose, and he's making a muck in the jungle. Seems his cranial features are large but with little brain matter, and he's too slow to comprehend.

What gives?

The newest rule in effect at Cleveland Browns Stadium is one in which all fans must adhere to:

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE CRENNELEPHANT. Any fan caught throwing peanuts Crennelephants way will be summarrily dismissed. The Crennelephant will be allowed to stuff his throttle after the game.

As a Browns fan for 40 years I hate to say it but, every year, same result.

This is the worst organization in professional Sports.

It's the same old story...and the same old rants after the game. Bottom line...everything needs improvement and we have a long way to go. Most analysts picked the Browns to win between 3-5 games this year saying 8-8 was a stretch. Fans need to wake up and realize this. We have new players to the team, new players to the league and no LEADERSHIP at all on this team from a player or coach perspective.
Football is a TEAM sport and what went on this past weekend showed me the Browns are no where near a TEAM let alone a GOOD OR GREAT TEAM. Show me some emotion, show me some skill, show me why you are proud to be a BROWN. Enough with the excuses and blame...dropped balls, poorly thrown balls, poor punt, missed blocks, missed tackles, poor coverage, penalties, a poor game plan...it's all about EXECUTION and PRIDE. Suck it up and go play some football!

I was very impressed to see Brady learning how to play the game by watching Frye and Anderson. I happened to catch a look at what Quinn was writing on the clipboard.

1. Charlie Frye stares down his receiver. I was taught that this was a bad thing..good thing i'm learning on the sideline how to be a PRO qb.

2. Make sure if the pocket gets somewhat close to clear the tackles to expose myself to the sack. Charlie says in the stat book it only makes the 0-line look bad.

3. If all your passes are way off target always look like you're laughing at a joke. It makes the defense think it was intentional.

4. Even if we've ran the ball 3 times the whole first quarter start 3 consecutive plays in play action the defense will so bite on it.

5. NEVER audible. If there's 8 in the box we go full steam ahead with up the gut run play. IF the secondary backs off 5+ yards we throw directly at them. If there's a blitz on the left side we run the play in the same exact direction.

WOW. I agree with Crennel and Savage. Quinn really needs to be on the sidelines for some seasoning and learn from Frye and Anderson. We'll ride frye out until he single handedly eliminates us from the playoffs and then it'll be safe to bring in Quinn once the other 21 players on the team quit.
