You're right stats don't lie and he has those on his side. But that doesn't give a person license to be a jerk. It doesn't mean you are owed something. Stats are what he has done in the passed, his attitude will affect the future.

We won't know that until lots of things happen - we'll look at his production this year, how well his age and injuries respond to being on the field, and how much he makes relative to how much he gives us. Then we look at what else is out there for the same price, taking into account knowing the system and the NFL (both good and bad), and how he fits with the organization. Plus, we have to consider how much he needs to "stay here" and play. Bottom line, if we won a SB with him, he'd be more likely to want to stay, and we'd be more likely to want him, if he helped. If he's good enough for 2-3 years, he'll save us a low draft pick to use on a longshot for a different position later.
He is in a pro-rated contract through the end of the year. They dont have to cut him. It is a decision whether or not to resign him. A good season here probably means we won't be able to afford his next contract.

The Colts signs Rice, who has been cut twice so far this year, he has a shoulder problem, and has been in the NFL for 12 plus years! what the Colts need to sign is a kicker that can make 29 yard FG's. missing 3 in two games ( which the Colts lost by 3 )is not acceptiable! bet Manning and the Colts would like to have "that drunker kicker back"
No, not Van-joke! "Austin Starr", 1st round kicker

Absolutely right. Manning is one of the problems with this team. His sanctimonious, hipicritical attitude will bring down this team. His true colors are already showing and starting to crack the foundation of this team. My neighbor is in the RCA Done organization and tells me that Manning is the biggest jerk inside and outside the lockeroom. He said that Manning turns into one of the nice, good ol' boys when a tv camera is around. Call Mayflower!!! Get this garbage out of Indy.
Just because your neighbor sells Cracker Jacks at the Dome doesn't mean anything. I have a cousin who is friends with Manning's half brother from a previous marriage on his grandfathers side...and he says Manning is a good guy...so that has to be true!

2 Things
#1 I think the Colts have done a great job of filling in for their injured starters. But we are only capable of so much. Look at it we have got an S-load of injuries right now. Sun PM we were down to Zero extra linemen. The perssure on Manning was bound to go up. Manning did not handle it well but I'm sticking with the Colts the whole way.
#2 Special Teams. They were bad to begin with but can only get worse as our depth decreases due to injuries. Last year we all wanted the Def Coordinators head. Somehoe Tony turned it around and look at us now. Have faith!! Tony,Payton and the boys will figure this out. We are starting to sound like Eagles fans and I don't see the need.
PS- Someone please mention the team from Foxborough I woudn't know how to act if I didn't hear some of their Crap thrown in. I think someones going to surprise them and I know it sounds funny but they play the Dolphins coming up and remember what they did to the Bears in 85.

These things are certain. Simeon Rice will be much better than you or me or an injured Dwight Freeney. Let's let him play. He will be eager to show he still has it and he will be on a big stage.

Rather have Freeney and Mathis in there. Rice helping helping the special teams D out and being there when Freeney needs a rest. THAT is what I'm hoping for, or maybe Rice can jump out and play Outside LB. Mathis has done nothing wrong
