Can they cut the deadbeat owner too? This team will never be a winner with the current owner. That's why I sit back and laugh when I watch this team on TV instead of rooting for them and getting mad like I used to.

One thing has been pretty consistent with all of the Lions trouble, and that is the owner. Look at what a different owner has done for the Red Wings and the Tigers. Too bad the guy that owns those teams didn't own the Lions.

Over the years I've seen the lions waste millions and millions on quarterbacks, running backs and very good wide recievers. After a couple of seasons those players lost hope and wanted to move on, in most cases. What I have yet to see in the 30 years that I have watched and rooted for them is an offensive line that can consistently protect the quarterback or open holes for a running back. Until they get a descent O line then they will keep ruining QB's and frustrating RB's.

How about they cut EVERYONE! Start out the new season with a new roster. Lets get real here. Even with a complete turn around of players, they couldn't do any worse than last years tem.

They need to cut every player, coach. Everyone in the the team office. Oh and cut the owner. If they have to keep someone then keep Jason Hanson.

Now if only they could get rid of the owner. No matter what they do I still won't care until they get new ownership. The Lions are a sick joke and William Clay Ford can go to hell.
