Packers Grooming 1st-Rounder Bulaga As Future LT

Apr 30, 2010 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: TheIndyChannel.com

Bryan Bulaga didn't really enjoy the run-up to the NFL draft. He'd rather play football than be poked and prodded by scouts and analyzed by so-called draft experts.

Can Bulaga beat out Chad Clifton at LT or will he have his struggles his rookie season like many before him have and Clifton can stay healthy enough to give the kid a year to live and learn and take over LT for the next decade or so!

I really hope CC can dominate this season, but I also would like to see Bulaga get some NFL game reps. Bulaga made some very nice comments I like to hear out of rookie that he respects CC and is looking forward to learn from one of the best and he'll patiently wait his turn to fill those shoes.

The kid is smart enough and not to cocky to realize what a great opportunity this is for him.If you CC, you have to know the end is coming soon and CC has stated, he wants to play 3 more years, and again we will have to see.

I want every Packer player to succeed. I want TT to succeed. It's not my fault he hasn't.

As for Bulaga, I think it's past due for TT to use a high pick on an O-lineman. I'm glad TT drafted him. The last thing I want to see is for Rodgers to get injured because TT failed to put enough talent in front of him or failed to have enough depth on the O-line. Why do you think I want the Packers to hire a better GM? It's all about the PACKERS. I don't want to see TT fail. He does that all by himself.

BTW games are won and lost in the trenches. I love O-linemen. I love D-linemen. TT drafted several of each. As I said before, I probably like TT's draft more than most people. However, it doesn't matter at all what I think or anybody else thinks if TT doesn't produce more wins and more playoff wins. Only time will tell. I'd still rather the Packers had a better GM. You're one of those people that thinks the draft is a GM's only job, aren't you? Are you also one of those people that thinks the first round pick is the entire draft? You give off that kind of naive vibe.

You don't think? Don't worry, you've survived this long without doing it. Since thinking is new to Bear fans, you can expect to struggle with it. Give it a try though: How pathetic will the Bears be this season? How did you like the Bear draft? LOL Do you need Mel Kiper to give me an answer? Or can you manage a thought or two on your own? Don't worry, I'll grade you on a curve so that you won't do any worse than your "special" friends.

I loved the Bears draft, I was on vacation for two weeks. Angelo is finally doing it right, he cant land the sure fire draft pick, usually finds something in the later rounds. He finally picked a real offensive coordinator, that can put points on the board, and bought a sure fire pass rusher that needs a double team, to help free up Tommie Harris and take pressure off the secondary. This will allow blitzing linebackers(probably heard of Briggs and Urlacher) to wipe out opposing QB's like the one in Minnesota

Yeah I think Martz should help. But where do you think the Bears finish in the division? The Lions should be improved. So do you think the Bears finish 3rd or 4th? I bet you're happy the NFL doesn't have five team divisions anymore. LOL

I see you have a sense of humor. Not a very good one, but I guess that's better than none at all. Keep hoping. I guess stranger things may have happened somewhere. Perhaps in a galaxy far, far away. Your best chance of seeing that scenario play out is probably in a parallel universe. Have a nice trip.

Packers were 6-10 the season before last, 3rd place in the Division. So don't act so cocky like it's a given they will be in 2nd place again.Things change fast in the Nfl.

Things do change fast in the NFL. I said a couple of months ago that the NFC North was going to be a lot more competitive this year, and nothing's happened to change my opinion on that yet. As a Packer fan, I'm honestly more worried about the Bears this year than I am about the Vikings. And I won't be surprised if the Lions do a lot better this year too.

IF BF returns, EVERYONE in the NFL should be worried about the Vikings.

Are you predicting the Packers are going to win the division? Then just come out and say it! Because if you aren't, that would be 5 out of 6 years with the Packers finishing behind the Vikes and Bears under TT's mismanagement which would further prove everything I've been saying. It also would explain why you and so many Viking fans love the guy so much.

I thought GM's could read and comprehend??? You cant. I said Green Bay and Bears fighting it out for 1st. Where did I predict the Packers were going to win the division??
