What is our world coming to? Folks are out for a night on the town, celebrating with friends and thugs are looking for someone's life to destroy.
May God bless the Williams family and find the strength to make some sense of all this mess.

2:00am shooting.
Where would that Limo have been at that time if the game had not been lost? Can we eliminate a planned killing irrespective of the game results?

How is it the shooter(s) knew where in the limosine the seats were located. Those are long vehicles with tinted windows, yet most of the shots found their target and others in the limosine were generally okay.

Someone must have had a lot of money riding on the game!

My thoughts and prayers to his mother and his two children. I remember reading the article about him a few weeks ago. What a tragedy that someone who realized the good and the bad in this world and worked so hard to get his life right can be taken away in one second. He was an awesome player for two years and was truly gifted

Unbelievable. Joey Porter of the Steelers was shot (but not killed) outside of a Denver club too.

He was a rising Corner back that is going to be missed on the field and off. He had unlimited potential and it was taken from him too soon. Prayers with the family, freinds, and fans; Darrent you will be missed, but not forgotten.

This is heart breaking news. I was headed home to Cherry Creek from downtown last night a little after 2 and saw all of the police cars. There were so many police cars I had to look. I saw the limo pulled off to the side. The limo was not near a night club. Whats up with thugs with guns. Don't they know rap songs are just entertainment not away to live your life. The saying live by the sword die by the sword was coined hundreds of years ago. It mease if you live with violence you die by violence. Someone knows who was involvde and betta speak up. Rat this trash out so we can bury him. Shit is going to hit the fan. This is a sports town and any willing to mess with and athelete messes with all of teh sports fans in teh rocky mountain region and will get smoked in short order.

I wish his family and friends peace in this trying time and he is in my thoughts and prayers darrent williams you will be missed we love you.

I am sorry you have to witness such sadness. I think Darrent knows where your heart is. It's okay to cry. Again, I am sorry for your pain and for the pain of his family and other fans.

What if Cutler had not thrown the pick (for TD) right to the 49ner DB, yesterday? Maybe they would have been somewhere celebrating....

Now instead of mourning the loss of a season, WE ALL mourn the loss of a potential STAR!

God bless his family and friends.
