I am so sorry to all! he has two babies and a mom that was left behind. I cant beleive someone could be so ruthless! Bronco or not this act is the act of someone without a backbone! I believe what goes around comes around! they will get what they deserve.
My prayers are with his family and to all.

pro athletes should be more careful of who they hang with. Reports indicate that somebody in DW's entourage got involved in a confrontation with another group at a nightclub. This same thing happened last week when a Chicago Bears player's bodyguard got shot at a nightclub. The Denver Broncos were eliminated from the NFL playoffs by losing their game on Sunday afternoon, but some of the players chose to go out and party that night after the game?? And they are still at the nightclub at 2am in the morning?? It's not very smart to be flaunting all the bling-bling and Limozines after midnight. The Denver Nugget players were smart to leave the club before midnight. I used to work at a nightclub and the atomosphere and people who show up after midnight is quite a bit different than before midnight. You'd think the players would learn, but the bullets just keep flying.

To the Broncos fan from Keego Harbor, Mi.
I believe it to be a sad day when I read comments such as yours. Yes, the Broncos did lose a football game earlier that day, but so what? He had as much a right to celebrate the New year as anyone else. Please, before making comments that could really be offensive, know the facts. I believe your views are very ignorant as you do NOT know that he was flaunting anything. Maybe you can just start by praying for the family, team mates and fans that are truly mourning his death instead of casting judgement on a beautiful person who did a lot of good in this world. The only people that did wrong are the one who committed this horrible act. God bless you, Darent Williams.

Sir or Miss...You were not at the club, so please don't act like you have any clue as to what happened. I was at Safari the night of the shooting, and it was a great vibe for the night...The Nuggets did not leave before 12, they helped close the place down as well, and everyone was getting along just fine...There was a non-violent altercation at the end of the night, which no one thought anything of, because that's what happens in night clubs, and it didn't escalate at the time (who knows if the two incidents are related)...I was going to just send my condolences on this topic post, but your dumb, insensitive comments ("not very smart flaunting your bling bling and limosuines"...get the f*ck outta here) my attention elsewhere.

Don't forget, athletes are people to, and after the game was over, they were off of work...They went and celebrated new years like the general public, and being there was no vip area at this club, the athletes themselves were the general public.

Your Broncos fan card should be revoked...We don't want your kind, as your words indicate as to what kind of person you really are: clueless

Sean you are absolutely right!

Thank you for your prspective on where the Nuggets Players were. I knew they did not go home early. It just did not sound right.

This is unfortunate. Some folks need to realize that with this "Gangsta" lifestyle that some foolish folks want to live and listen, that there really is someone on on the other end of these guns and bullets that they profess to.

What makes me madder and sadder: If you want to shoot semi-automatic weapons - GO TO IRAQ.

We have plenty of young people in your age group, dying so that you have freedom. I just think that if you want to shoot people - GO TO IRAQ.

I wholeheartedly agree, Tracie! GO TO IRAQ!
There are thousands of worthy young people dying every day in Iraq so these morons can make war with each other on the streets of America. Trouble is they don't even rate going to the military either! UNCLE SAM, DRAFT THEM FOR FRONT LINE DUTY IN IRAQ!!!
