All thogh I am a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan my prayers and thoughts are with the Taylor Family and the Washington Redskins

The news media and everyone else needs to focus on this young man's tragic death and not his troubled past.

RIP SEAN TAYLOR #21 FOREVER

My sympathy goes out to Sean Taylor's family. It was a tragedy.

However, one must remember that this young man did not have a clean past. He had been in trouble with the law and the NFL - at one time spitting on an official. What kind of person with any decency would do this? Who, in their right mind, would keep a machete in their house, especially with little kids around. He must have been in more trouble with the law than the public knows about. The trouble with football players or any other kind of player, is that they are overpaid for what they do. I don't understand all the hype about Sean. He was only a football player. As usual, the news media had overdone the reporting. Last night one of the local Washington TV channels spent the first ten minutes talking about Sean. I hope that this is the end of it.

Chesapeake, How can you first start off by saying "my sympathys goes out to Sean Taylor's Family" and then bring up his past. Let his past stay in the past.No matter what happend in his past his life was still taken.I dont think this situation has anything to do with how much an NFL player makes. We all need to give a little more time to GOD and this is my opinion. My thoughts & Prayers are with Sean Taylor's Family & the whole Washington Redskins Orginazation. Chesapeake, What does his past have to do with the present? A family has not lost their son, father, brother, friend. FYI-That was another player that he spit on not an official, if you are going to bring up his past, bring it up correctly. He was young but over the years he matured. The news and everyone eles needs to get off his past history and focus on the good he was doing presently. Everyone makes mistakes in their youth and Sean learned from the mistakes he made. He did not desrve what happened to him, no one deserves to be killed by the hands of another human being for nothing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Taylor family.

To correct my previous message it should have said: A family has lost their son, father, brother, friend. And yes, I spelled else incorrectly also but I am correcting it now.

This shows tremendous respect for such a young player, which had a great future lined up for him. I believe it was taken away because someone was jealous of all he had. I will be watching the games this weekend especially the Redskin game; thinking of Sean Taylor! You will be missed greatly!!

To the Taylor's and Sean's girlfriend and daughter, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
