I dont really understand this signing.Seems like we were already pretty thick at running back. From what Ive read this guy really hasnt done much in 6 years.Young and Reynard must not be making a good impression.I think Johnson is probably a goner.

Dog answer this question and then maybe it will make sense to you and others. How many RB's besides AP do the Vikes have that have ANY NFL experience? Young didn't even have a carry last seaon in the regular season. If AP gets hurt who would you want to carry the reins, a proven sturdy back with NFL experience or one that has none or a rookie. Plus this team is not re-building it is contending so it is all the more important we have back like Moats to fall back on, make sense?

Well Erie it kind of makes sense.Im sure they arent going to get rid of Reynaud cause hes to important to the return game.Especially if Percy has a migraine.I hate to see Young go with 2 years into him.I just dont see how their going to fit this into the roster. How do you see it working.Move reynaud to another position to keep a roster spot.Move young back to practice squad.Axe Johnson and then carry 3 backs on the active roster.?

You did know they cut James Johnson, the RB they signed from Cincy this off-season right?

Or yeah, relegate Ian to the PS, or Young. Moats trumps both their talents and brings legitimacy to the position. Just business.

Last year we had Peterson,Taylor,Young, and Johnson.I understand that Moats is a scat back.So what do you do with Reynaud.?

Not sure Dog, not really educated on the number of players allowed by position on roster, Reynaud could be trade bait now. Harvin can return both punts and kicks. Berrian is also adroit in that area.

I hope it turns out like they say.I think young or johnson could go before reynaud but whos to say .I trust the coaches.Last year I about freaked when they let Bobby Wade go cause the prior year he was our top reciever.Once I saw Percy harvin I knew why.LOL

Dog I also voiced my concern when they made that move citing the same reason you mentioned. I thought it was risky to just outright release your top reciever from the prior year but I am glad they did now!! Hopefully Gerhart will make big contributions as well, one thing about the Chilly regime they have drafted well and utilized FA very well also.
