It's really only a matter of time before Devin's blockers get pissed off with him and miss a block or two and other teams will learn how to defense him. Once that happens, he's work poop!

I had never thought about it up til now, but it makes alot of sense if the price is RIGHT. For a team that needs a major offensive infusion of talent, the rewards could rezonate for years to come IF you get what your looking for in trade/draft value. Remember, it never hurts to ask or atleast troll the NFL waters and find out.

you are not crazy, you are just plain dumb!! Only in Chicago would a idiot reporter want to trade the most important player on the team and at the same time reward a guy who has four years left on a contract and his skills has eroded, only in chicago with some of the most spineless reporters in the counrty.

How can you write about the great returners without mentioning Brian Mitchell or Eric Metcalf? Mel Gray is it? Come on.

usually I can see the value on both sides here but......u lost your mind!!! First off as good as his repitation is here a lot of teams aren't going to give us there whole draft and franchise qb for Hester - in big part because many GMs have their he is still just a returner slot (even though I understand that a little) so essentially just like trading away any great player, it's unlikely to get equal value from him. There is no proof that he will only settle for being over paid. He's a game changer making maybe (not certain)less than the veteran minimum.

and the bad wr judgement my response would be at the very least how do u know that after his first year doing it (which had many highs unless u choose to Grossman Hester by only seeing the negatives) he is ony going to get better and his talent gives him an incredible window. Plus losing Berrian makes Hester the only true (vertical threat) burner that would strike fear in a secondary.

I agree this guy needs to earn his stripes, but please...why not suggest that we trade him for Vick as soon as that pile of pooooooo is released from jail...
