Speaking softly, carrying big sacks

Full story: Baltimore Sun

It's easy to see why Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison would dislike the Ravens.

Harrison is a striaght-up beast. I have to admit that it's a feel-good story considering all he been through. Too bad the Ravens couldn't keep him, but I'm very satisfied with the linebackers we have now.

LOL How exactly is this news again?

So James Harrison didn't even make our practice squad. So what? It couldn't possibly have been because we already had guys like Terrell Suggs, Bart Scott, Jarrett Johnson, Adalius Thomas, and Ray Lewis filling up our depth chart, could it? Harrison is a great player, sure, but these stir the pot articles almost get silly.

I think the containment of Harrison is a key. He's been such a disruptive force in playing the Ravens. With Gaither hurting, there better be a plan to neutralize Harrison on the pass rush or it's going to be a long day for the offense. I still say the key is going to be if the Ravens can run and they must get more than 150yrds. on the ground from our three headed monster. However, I think the Ravens will win. I just hope this game doesn't take so much out of us that we don't have anything left for the last two game though. I see the Dallas game as being tough to win. It's going to make the playoff qualifications very complicated.

FIRE TREMBLEY.........ANSWER THE QUESTION!!! What do you have to say about YOUR EXACT WORDS from these post???

On SEPTEMBER 19th, FIRE TREMBLEY WROTE...... "We'll see how you feel in January...after we finish the season with 4 wins...."

TWO MONTHS LATER...
...On NOVEMBER 19th, FIRE TREMBLEY WROTE......"Check back with me in 3 weeks when this team is 6-7, and all you homers are calling for John Harbaugh's head..."

Harrison was a stud and the Ravens should have kept him. They kept C. Brown, OLber instead who was at the end of his career. Can you imagine if Ozzie had opted to keep Thomas and Harrison, the Ravens would have had a SB Championship defense.

for one rice probably wont play and mcgahee will probably play but is injured and mclain wont run against our d. hit type of running style will not be succesful against our defense, ask brandon jacobs. neither team is going to be able to run the ball and everyone is saying its going to come down to turnovers. but i think even more its gonna come down to who is disciplined, alot of emotions between the two and who can avoid the big 15 in crucial moments

The NFL is full of players who for whatever reason could not make it with one team, but thrived with a different team (Johnny U. was drafted by the Steelers for crying out loud!),

The Ravens have a top 5 defense and have had one for nearly a decade. I guess Ozzie has made more good decisions than bad on that side of the ball.

James Harrison (the best linebacker in the league) and the Steelers are going to crush the Pittsburgh Steeler wannabes (Ravens). on Sunday

They could'nt do it at home against a rookie QB in his first road game. What makes you think they will do it on Sunday?

My goodness, you sound just like "Fire Tremblay" with your asenine comments. Regardless of who wins this game, it promises to be a hard-fought struggle between two good teams with great defenses.

Harrison is one of the dirtiest players in the league! He repeatedly takes cheap shots at any opposing player he can get his hands on. He gives football a bad name. He should have been tossed out of numerous games so far this year but the ref's and the league have no guts.

Fire Trembley disappeared, tail between legs, because he knows he was soooo wrong in his predictions. Probably went back to Pittsburgh.

The Ravens are having a good season - no doubt, but they seem to have such a high opinion of themselves. What have they accomplished this year that the Steelers haven't, besides beating the Eagles?

I guess they should have kept Ed Hartwell too? The Ravens are not hurting for linebackers.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
