Danieal Manning at nickleback sounds like a great idea on paper because of his speed and intensity. But, like Manning Jr. says, it takes time to learn that very tough position and unfortunately the Bear defense (and fans) will suffer.

As far as Fred Miller coming back? Why not just go with young guys? They cannot be any worse than an aging, slow-on-his-injured legs veteran.

Look for a 4-12 season Bear fans. I don't see them winning a single game on the road this year and they will go 4-4 at home. Maybe next year they won't draft injured players. Guess I can always watch other teams since I have NFL Ticket.

Bodoglife has the Bears at 40:1 to win the Super Bowl? Wow! They must be completely nuts! I give them no chance at all!

First cut necessary for the Bears to return to glory: cut whoever the talent evaluators are. Start with Lovie and Angelo. The personel decisions they are making these days are awful.

One more thing: Fred Miller has missed the entire camp. Either he doesn't want to play for anyone, or else he just wants to draw a check for no work at all. FORGET HIM.

Fred Miller is garbage. Enough said. Offering him a contract no matter the amount is a waste of time. This season is going to suck really bad.

4-12 almost seems optimistic to me...

This is yet another example of how the Bears'
brain(dead)trust have absolutely no skill when it comes to evaluating talent.
Danieal Manning is a bad football player. Period. Just look at the film. He takes horrible angles, makes awful decisions, and is a poor tackler. He might have impressive measurables, but simply put, he's just not a good football player. He has no football smarts.

I can spot this from 2000 miles away sitting on my couch, yet these stooges who run the team can't, just like they couldn't figure out that Rex Grossman isn't good or that Thomas Jones was perfectly capable of carrying the load when they went out and used a #4 pick on Benson.

Mark my words: The Danieal Manning era in Chicago won't last past this season.

Please tell me this is a joke like the rest of the Bears management and team...Lovie is going to rest his players....hell, he has done that all year in practice...this team is pathetic....and Angelo, Smith, Turner and Babich should all be fired immediately.
