i've stopped wondering and hoping
all the talk, "we're going back to the super bowl" by the
bears players, what a joke ...

talk is cheap honey bears ... you're so predictable
you're easy to beat -- with coaching like that

we run off the bus ..
yet throw for 381 yards .. 45 attempts?

this staff makes me nervous, football coaches in general make me nervous, half the fans in the bar knew what the bears we're going to do ... obviously it don't take much to be a coach in the NFL

Chokers & Jokers

The Bears defense sucked more than a stadium full of vacuum cleaners.

But this has been an exciting season so far! They keep you at the edge of the remote control because you just don't know how the Bears will lose week to week.

I recommend they change the name of the team to the Chicago Hoovers or the Chicago Blue Bearies.

With the injuries on the defensive side of the ball, it is hard to place all the blame on the coaches. Poor execution is certainly a main cause. However, good coaches adjust and adapt to the situation. It would not appear something Lovie and Babich are doing well. Perhaps, Rivera was not so bad after all.

As for the offense, Griese is putting points on the board. Though there are still too many turnovers, if the defense was having a 2006 year, there would not be an issue. Still, the decision on Benson seems strange, at best. Is he not the big back noted for pounding a line? Should that not have been the call? Either that or a play action pass; not a QB sneak. Turner might be too clever for his own good.

perhaps the inferior roster comment should refer to the home team.

Inferior roster? Hey I'm a Bears fan, but I would have a hard time saying the Bears have a better roster than the Vikings. Peterson is the real deal friends...makes Benson look like a college player. And Griese no better than the opposition. Their kicker nailed a 55 yarder. And Archuletta is so freakin' overrated it's a joke...which is the reason the rams cut him.

It seems strange that in nearly every comment section for every artcle in the Tribune lately the name Turner keeps popping up when the subject is the Bear's poor performance on offense. When I hear cooments from fans that "they know what the next play is before it's run" tells you something about the play calling of Turner. This constant referral to "the running game" and yet Benson isn't getting the carries and he's on the sideline in crucial series is more testament to the offensive failures of Turner.

So when is somebody in the Bear's front office going to start putting all this together, when the fans, sportswriters and every other team in the NFL sees the obvious? Turner needs to go!

Even last year there were a good number of coaching blunders but they were winning and no one seemed to care

The Bears are just simply not a good team. World class talent like Hester, Urlacher & Briggs thrown in with way too many average guys, none of whom are coached well, and all put together by a medicre GM who thinks by " business plan", not by football excellence. The whole system is a mess that will take years to correct.

Here is why you lost:

Vikings Def, better than your defense
Vikings QB, push
Vikings O-line, better than your O-line
Vikings running game, infinitely better than your running game
Vikings Special Teams, not as good as yours

Add it up -- you lose
