I have had this type of injury from a sparring match. I was told that it is more painful than cracking a rib. I believe it. Let him rest.

He won't last the season.
He had a good run while it lasted. Bears should have
traded him while he was a hot commodity - too bad he was
their only offensive threat

Last week 3.4 yards on returns. They are finally figuring out what he does. Good thing he got the benjamins when he did.

For one thing writing off a special player like Hester after less than two games this year is pretty ignorant!! Get real,The guy is not going to score touchdowns on every return. That is just common Football sense. In just 2 seasons he is 2 returns away from tying the all time record set by Brian Mitchell. It took Mitchell probably 10 years to do that.Sounds like the media posting here! Writing off Hester after getting hurt & so early in the season! No one except the media & our opponents would be stupid enough to Trade, write off or call Hester a bust!!No special players like Hester have break out games every single week, that is just stupid thinking & shows a lack of Football knowledge!!It is common sense that teams are going to try to game plan to stop him!Teams in Football do that to all the special players. Its only a matter of time, before Hester breaks out some T.D's this season. The Bears should definitely sit Hester this week.I had the same type of rib injury,it took a few weeks for me to function. Also Defenses are going to attack & target his ribs anyway. So Let Daniel Manning handle the returns this week.We will need Hester next week more vs the eagles! Prediction for Sunday,Bears 20 Buc's 10. Take care Everyone.God Bless! BEAR DOWN!! GO BEARS!!!
