Hey, who's that new kicker the Bears obtained during the game? Looked like a lineman? You know the one who received the 15 yard personal foul late in the game on the 5 yard line. If you look at the film, you will see that the defender did kick this player in the privates which the referees DID NOT see, and then he retaliated with the kick to the head with his knee.

Oh Well, You guys made a terrible QB look really good. This Eli Manning is NOT Peyton, that is for sure, he sux....but somewhere and somehow the Bears made this moron look like a HERO to the NYC fans. If anyone lost this game it was the Bears....To work so hard and come with results like what happened on Sunday is disappointing. You know, up here in the northwest, I don't get to see many Bears' games...and the two that I have seen, have been sad....a loss to the Seahawks, and I live in this area...and this past Sunday....truely disappointing....Where has 'da Bear's defense gone? Fishing, I guess....time to come back, fellas....Go Bears!!!

Actually the bears chances of making the playoffs are mathematically alot slimmer than many understand. By loosing to NY, they virtually eliminated one of the wild card spots that they could compete for. The bears have to win all 4 of their remaining games and NY has to loose all 4 of their remaining games to get that playoff slot back into the picture. That's not going to happen. So they are down to one spot left available. And when they loose to the Vikings that one remaining spot will be gone to.

It's really time for them to start evaluating who they want to keep for next season. They need to give other players some playing time so they can make these evaluations. I would expect there will be alot of changes made to the roster and possibly the coaching staff as well.

Now I know why I confuse the Bears and the Cubs. Sure, 2 completely different sports, but unfortunately, pretty much the same performance. "Wait till next year!"

I have to admire Joe Gibbs. He admitted he made a mistake calling 2 consecutive time outs. Bear coaches never admit their shortcomings -- like not running Benson more in Seattle and going away from the No Huddle against the Giants. They were flat our wrong to do it in both cases, but the chickens won't admit it.

I've apologized for Lovie and his staff long enough. The coaching is garbage. There were at least two games lost due to coaching decisions. Stop insulting the fans.

You're being very optimistic when you say "split"

If the Bears want to plan for next season they should start by firing Ron Turner.

Your coaching staff is only as good as your weakest link. Ron Turner is that weakest link.

As I watched the Bear Game on Sunday. I saw the Fat Woman Singing. She was giving Lovie a lap dance at the same time...stick a fork in "Da Bears." It is OVER

Coach Smith mentioned that the reason they went away from the seemingly successful no-huddle offense was because they wanted to work the clock. Can someone explain that the objective is to beat the other team not beat the clock!!! The Patriots consider the objective is to win the game and that means putting points on the board. Especially when this year's defense allows the other team to put points on the board.
You hit the nail on the head. They got way too conservative. It seems that when we are up by 7-10 points, they sit back and play the clock instead of keeping the pedal down and winning.

do you think san diego will take smith, turner, babich, angelo, archuleta, and both our right tackles for rivera and turner?( the burner - not the coach )

ahh - I can dream, can't I?

Only in Chicago can a team with so much promise get screwed up so fast

If the Bears don't lock up Ron Turner for a long term contract soon, some other team desperate for offense is going to snatch him away. Like the Patriots, or Indianapolis!

Please tell San Diego to take Ron Turner. Please, somebody get Ron Turner out of this town.
A losing coach from a losing coaching career. Got to fire Ron Turner now.
