Here the pack fans go again with the "titletown" talk. Once again, 1 championship since the 60's does not make a "titletown", especially when teams such as, San Fran, Dallas, New England and Pittsburgh have all won multiple titles since then, even after the league expanded, which since that happened the Pack only have 1. Don't, his response is going to be the good old, "how many trophies are in the Vikes case? Oh yeah, none!" Which really doesn't hurt most Vikes fans anymore. Plus, when did Pack fans start rooting for the bears as well? That rivalry is more than they have with the Vikes, so this guy is definitely clueless.

Oh here we go Packer fans spouting off about "Titletown". On February 6 the NFL will have the 45 Super Bowl of those:

The Packers, Redskins, Raiders, Patriots, and Giants have won 3
The Cowboys and 49ers have won 5
And the Steelers have won 6.

So if the Packers are "Titletown" then that would make Washington D.C., Oakland, Foxboro, and New York "Titletowns" as well.

What does that may Dallas and San Fran? Title City

What about Pittsburgh? Title Metropolis

I hate to burst anyone's bubble here, but Singletary's tenure at SF was a very bad one. He is all about emotion, and that's about it. He has no idea how to motivate his players (the niners players apparently did not like him- he would yell at them in appropriate times and had no idea whatsoever about adjustments (his teams were horrible in the 3rd quarter, which shows a lack of coaching ability). Maybe he'll impress the young guys, but I don't see veterans like Allen, Winfield or the Williams' putting up with his crap. Good luck.
Well first of all Singletary isnt going to be the Head coach just the linebackers coach A big differents. He konws the job & He played the game so the players reespect him I myself think he is the perfect fit to coach the linebackers. Go Vikings

Reading through these posts I can honestly say if Vince Lombardi was still alive, and the Vikings hired him someone would complain that he would be 97 years old.

Bears won because of bad two calls in the 1st quarter. One was feild goal and the other would have not given chicago the ball for the touchdown. Dallas and chicago always get the benifit of the calls. It is in the rule book. It is always obvious.

A Singletary hire, I hope, would be one of many great moves by the Vikings. Is it really hard for the Vikes Management to put together a "Super Bowl winner"?

What the hell is Frazier waiting for god if he is waiting on McDaniels he's an idiot, christ the Carolina gets a new coach and he already has more of a staff togetter than frazier does. I believe fraizer doesn't have a clue how to get a staff togetter nor coach a team fire frazier now he just another puppet

11 point spread is hardly a arse handing especially, with the record seattle had going into the playoffs, they shouldn’t even been there.

Seattle scored a late garbage TD. It was a thorough beating.... by both NFC North teams. Should set up a great game next week. Maybe Seattle should not have been there, but they did beat the Saints, so that should give them some credibility.

Agreed, I'm a little concerned about this move. The 49ers played very tight this year and it was because they were afraid to make a mistake and have Coach Singletary yell at them. Other than the name why is everyone else excited about this move? For me I'd make every move to hire Kevin Greene out of Green Bay!!!!
that is where Frazier will come in. HE is the head coach and it would be his responsibility to keep Singletary in line and I trust he could do that.

Oh, yeah? How come Vernon Davis has been a Pro Bowl TE ever since Mike jumped all over him. He was a bust until Mike got in his head changed his attitude. Now Davis is one of the leaders on that team; in a good way.

Give us a break Fraziers not too smart signing the same secondary coach. His secondaries were the worst in the league. Frazier liked to play that soft cover two with his secondaries continually getting burned underneath and over the top, so he brought back the guy that would play his schemes. It will be a long season for Viking fans with the same defensive secondary schemes, unless Freddie steps in.
That was Childress who called for the Cover 2. He said when he got here that he was running a West Coast offense and a Tampa 2 style defense. Klink is the one who wanted to rush 4 every play. Bend but don't break. Frazier comes from arguably the best defense ever in his playing days. He coached under Jim Johnson in Philly. Marvin Lewis in Cincy and Dungy in Indy. He knows many styles of defense. He dialed up the blitz in the last two games of the year. Hardly a soft cover 2. He'll make the changes necessary. He's just not jumping the gun. I think its pretty intellegent.
