great job fraizer, hiring an impressive staff. Get a good offensive coordinator and special teams coach as well. Draft offensive tackle Nate Solder from Colorado or Mike Pouncey center from Florida. O-Line needs to be rebuilt before any qb takes snaps for the purple. Favre got smashed this year because of weak John Sullivan, injured right guard, and regressing Loadholt. Also resign AP, Sidney, and Chad Greenway. Cut Berrian and Madiue, both are garbage.

Great! Now all we need is about six more assistant coaches, a quarterback,
three defensive backs , a linebacker , four new offensive linemen, a couple of
wide receivers, and we will be ready to battle for third place in the North.

We just watched the two top teams in the North for the next five years in
the playoff games this weekend.

Like Chilly said, he left the cupboard full when he was fired.

Give us a break Fraziers not too smart signing the same secondary coach. His secondaries were the worst in the league. Frazier liked to play that soft cover two with his secondaries continually getting burned underneath and over the top, so he brought back the guy that would play his schemes. It will be a long season for Viking fans with the same defensive secondary schemes, unless Freddie steps in.

Da Bears...Get your team ready for the match up between the Bears and the Green Bay packers...I suggest that Urlacher be primed to stuff Rodgers head into the frozen tundra...I want the Bears to play the Steelers in the Super Bowl....

Man are you kidding me, you almost lost to the lowly Seatle man, did you see the Packer game, it was’t even close, you should smoke a little bud and mellow , so you won’t be smashing shet when the Packers run over the bears on there way to the super bowl. hahahahahahaha

Singletary could be a real good hire for the Vikings. He was fiery as the coach of the 49ers though emtion alone didn't carry the day. THis position will allow him to be himself in a facet of the game he certainly knows well.

Nice move. Hopefully, we draft a young linebacker for him to work with in round 1 or 2.

hopefully Singletary can bring some fire and passion to this underachieving group known as the defense. Why only linebacker coach? put him in charge of the entire defense..........

Singletary as DC? I could agree with that...but Pagac may not. The opening is for Pagac's old job, LB coach. I like Pagac...he isn't afraid to blitz when needed. But what good are coaches without players? Idea...make your QB also your assistant O/C.

(QU)eer tracks is really a piece of work. Jasper: Truckers and cab scabs. Get a pro teams before worrying how to outfit it with more losing personnel! Titletown, USA: NFL cultural epicenter. Go Pack, go Bears, go Lions. Queens...just go away.

Singletary is a great signing, especially for Jasper Brinkley, who just barely knows how to play linebacker. Greenway and EJ already know how, but Singletary will have great tips for them, too. Maybe he can help the Vikings get a sleeper pick at linebacker in the April draft.

Can't help but think this will be a good move. I rooted for Singeltary to make it work as a head coach, and was sorry to see that it didn't work out for him. Hope things go better for him here.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble here, but Singletary's tenure at SF was a very bad one. He is all about emotion, and that's about it. He has no idea how to motivate his players (the niners players apparently did not like him- he would yell at them in appropriate times and had no idea whatsoever about adjustments (his teams were horrible in the 3rd quarter, which shows a lack of coaching ability). Maybe he'll impress the young guys, but I don't see veterans like Allen, Winfield or the Williams' putting up with his crap. Good luck.

...i know...like you...i was happy when Pagac was given the job...the increas in blitzing alone was refreshing. however, Singletary...that man is just flat out mean when it comes to "D" and he doesn't want to hear any excuses...to me,that has been another thing the Vikes have lacked as well...major freakin attitude...at any rate...i would be happy just to have him on board...his pressence alone is worth the price of admission...GO VIKES!!!

Agreed, I'm a little concerned about this move. The 49ers played very tight this year and it was because they were afraid to make a mistake and have Coach Singletary yell at them. Other than the name why is everyone else excited about this move? For me I'd make every move to hire Kevin Greene out of Green Bay!!!!

Fire the D Coach and make it Mike's D. He will not put up with the whiners and quitters from buffoonish 2010-2010. The babies in SF could not take it..that is why they stunk up the field...

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
