Mr. McClure:
I respect your writing, but Marty Booker signed a 2-year-deal as opposed to the one year contract that you reported in this story.
The following is from chicagobears.com :
LAKE FOREST, Ill.– The last Bears wide receiver to be voted to the Pro Bowl returned for a second stint with the team Tuesday when Marty Booker agreed to a two-year contract.
Booker spent the previous four seasons with the Dolphins after the Bears traded him and a draft pick to Miami on Aug. 21, 2004 in exchange for defensive end Adewale Ogunleye.

Trading Marty Booker was one of the biggest mistakes the Bears have made since they canned Ditka.

Older but still a threat. A threat to do what? Have a heart attack? He was not a real good receiver when the Bears had him before.

Booker wont be making any plays. He still short arms the ball instead of fully extending. Terrible pick up. Mike Haas should be the guy!

Booker 32 with no major injuries; Glenn 34 with two bad knees and in need of surgery. Go figure.

Booker made the pro-bowl with the Bears. Dont look at his performance with the lowly Dolphins. Everyone that leaves the Dolphins gets reborn.

Yea, a major threat to drop the ball. Good riddence. I'm happy with some of these new young guys... more upside.
Out with the old and in with the new.

Booker is a heck of a receiver. Unfortunately, he ended up with the Dolphins for a few years. In essence he has forfeited those years from his career...

Yeah, Booker actually cried when he was traded to the lowly Dolphins. He's gotta be thrilled and revitalized to be off that team.
