I don't think anyone can count Croyle out yet. The chiefs got an excellent deal with him. If they improve their receiving talent, and give him a shot with the first team he might impress everyone. It seems that every other team in the NFL that is going anywhere has a young QB (patriots, chargers, cowboys). Also, the chiefs in my opinion should give a shot to Svitek, Bober, and Sampson.

I dont think you can possilby say Brodie Croyle is better than Trent Green...Not in his life time taking Trent out of the offense when he was a leader of the offense is like taking a motor out of the car or trying to start a car with out gas....A big big big mistake we will suffer in 2007..........

Trent is the man, but we need to make sure that Croyle gets some playing time. He seems to be the future QB for KC. Trent doesn't have long before he's retiring. Our O-line can make or break the offense, so we need to be smart.

I really hope Huard gets to be starting QB for the next couple of years. We just need to get rid that f'in Brodie Croyle. Trent needs to be backup QB.

Excuse me, are you talking about the same Printers that only completed passes to the opposition when he got his rep's? Also, if my memory serves me correctly, he never even completed a pass to a Chiefs receiver. He has power all right, to the power to look worse that Croyle did, and that's pretty bad since Croyle looked just as pathetic. There is no such thing as a bargin at QB. Winning teams trade for a quality backup with the potential to be a starter, exactly the same way we got Trent who was a winner before the predictable “Edwards” offense came to town.

Yes that is the same Printers, the one that was the league MVP in the CFL, the same league that Garcia & Flutie came from the same league that Ricky Williams looked real ordinary in last year

Your best bet for the Cheifs is to sit out 2007 and get a #1 draft pick next year. You keep getting these .600 seasons and they NEVER make any moves in the off season. Herm was the worst thing that happened to KC.

I think Croyle is no Trent Green, but he is a perfect fit in Herm's system: A quarterback that won't take many chances and won't turn the ball over much. True, he won't light it up either. But Herm doesn't want a quarterback that lights it up, if there are turnovers to go with the big plays. Trent was unfortunately too used to Vermeil's system in which he could make risky throws and turn it over once in a while if he would also make big plays. Herm has a different attitude and its tough for a guy who has played as long as Trent has to change his philosophy this late in his career

Brodie is not the man for the chiefs at his best he would be a good backup his too small. The chiefs need to draft trent edwards or drew statton in this years draft.Etheir of those qb's would be better than brodie.
