You could use a "litle" spelling lesson yourself genius.

Well Whoopee freakin Dooooo!! We got a 37 year old injury prone QB. If we where going in that direction (Signing a old A*S*S guy) We should have brought back Griese. Another wasted pick. When will the Dolphins ever learn. Well I can't wait till football season. Like DMX says, "Here we go again."
My sentiments exactly, how the frig are we supposed to get excited for this season ?...

Well......I don't know if Pennington has everyone quaking in their boots - smart but very average arm strength - but he does own a 6-1 record against the Dolphins so maybe it's the Dolphins quaking in their boots?? Care to explain that?.......

Nice comeback at post #209...what do you think of Miami giving up most likely a 4th round pick for 37 yr old concussed Trent Green? Obviously he will be a mentor for Beck. What's perplexing is the fact that he would have been released most likely in the next two weeks. I think the Dolphins let Herm Edwards play them pretty good...if this Beck turns out to be as good as they think I guess it won't matter, but we'll see......

I think A) Fans of teams that aren't the focus of the blogs they make multiple entries in are sad losers, and B)Opinions....azzholes...we all got em.
Only ones that matter are pulling the strings.

Trent does well, he's worth the 2nd day draft choice, he doesn't, well whatever.

I don't care if you let Trent and Daunte "battle it out"...I know who's gonna win. Daunte has done nothing in this league outside of one great season. He's been out for the better part of 2 full seasons, and looked like dookie the games he did play. What's he gonna show in training camp that will change that? He also has a reputation league wide for not being very smart. This offense isn't gonna work with "not very smart".

Let em battle I don't care. I know who's starting for the fins next year. I guess I'll hope he does well. Beck is the future anyway.

Hey guys! I don't want to brag, but here's a little about me.
Since my arrival in Kansas City in 2001, only Tom Brady (58), Manning (54), Favre (48) and Donovan McNabb (47) have registered more regular season victories than Me (44)... In fact, those 44 wins as Kansas City’s starter are the second-highest total in franchise annals behind only Hall of Fame inductee Len Dawson (94)... I Embarks upon my 13th NFL campaign ranking as the eighth-highest rated passer in NFL history (88.3), ranking ahead of Hall of Fame performers such as Dan Marino (86.4), Jim Kelly (84.4) and Len Dawson (82.6)... Im 12th all-time in league annals, averaging 7.70 yards per attempt, the best figure among active players with at least 3,000 attempts … I Rank 15th in NFL history with a 60.7 completion percentage … Owns 150 career TD passes, needing just three more to move ahead of Bart Starr and Billy Kilmer (152) on the NFL’s all-time chart … Arguably I'm one of the league’s most well-versed players or coaches in the Chiefs offensive scheme, whose origins date back to San Diego’s “Air Coryell” offense in the ‘80s … Remarkably consistent performer, I've thrown for 4,000 yards in three consecutive seasons, joining Dan Fouts (’79-81), Marino (’84-86) and Manning (’99-04) to become only the fourth QB in NFL history to accomplish that feat … I'm the only QB in the league to have an active streak of four consecutive 90.0+ rating seasons and is only the third QB in NFL history to accomplish the feat in four straight seasons, joining Steve Young (’91-98) and Favre (’94-97)... Over the past five seasons I've presided over a Chiefs offense that has produced more net yards of total offense (30,470 - 380.9 ypg) than any other NFL squad … Over that five-year span with Me calling the signals, Kansas City ranked second in the NFL in total points (2,157 - 27.0 ppg) and passing yards per attempt (7.81), while coming in third in both net passing yards (19,484 - 243.6 ypg) and team passer rating (88.5)...I've enjoyed a record-breaking run of success since joining the Chiefs, ranking at or near the top of virtually every passing chart in franchise history … Owns the top spots in team history with a 62.00 completion percentage, a 7.80-yard average gain and 24 300-yard passing games …I Trail only Dawson in career passing yards, completions, attempts and TD passes … My 20,117 passing yards over the past five seasons are second in the NFL behind only Manning (20,902)... Only Manning (1,755) and Favre (1,681) own more completions than Green (1,599) from 2001-05, while Manning (7.88) and Marc Bulger (7.86) are the only QBs with better yards-per-attempt ratios than Green (7.80) during that timeframe … Also I've been a key reason that Kansas City has led the NFL in total offense for each of the past two seasons, becoming the first AFC squad to accomplish that feat since ‘96-97 … Under My direction in 2002 and 2003, Kansas City led the NFL in scoring both of those seasons … Enjoyed his best campaign from a statistical standpoint in 2004 when he set single-season franchise records for completions (369), passing yards (4,591), 300-yard games (8) and passes of 20+ yards (59)... Also set personal bests with 27 TD passes and a 66.37 completion percentage in 2004 … In five campaigns with the Chiefs, I've completed 1,599 of 2,579 passes (62.00%) for 20,117 yards with 111 TDs and 76 INTs, numbers that translate into a franchise-best 88.3 rating … Extremely accurate passer I've produced five of the top six single-game completion percentage marks in Kansas City history … Registered a string of 14 straight completions vs. Indianapolis (10/31/04), one shy of Dawson’s team record … Set a career record with 159 consecutive attempts without an INT during the 2005 season
To all of you Trent Green bashers,it sure makes you have second thoughts about Mr. Green, wouldn't you say?GREAT QUOTE!!!!

You are getting a magnificent quarterback. Don't be surprised if he makes Tom Brady look average. Trent Green can play football as good as anyone. Give him a year and you will be happy.

Dolfan 66. I love Trent Green. However, don't bring Trent to K.C. to play football. Come visit okay, eat bbq whatever. But, don't play him in Arrowhead. That will be the end of your Trent Green experience.

Just ask Trent.

I am from Kansas City and please let me dispell any myths about Trent Green. He isn't injury prone. He is a great QB. Kansas City is saddend of his departure and he's still got many many years of probowl proformance in him. Unlike Elvis Grbac, who no one missed when he went to the then world champion Baltimore Ravens; we will truly miss this guy. And if he starts for your team, you'll end up loving him not only because of his great play but also his great character.
