Hey J. Madden...1st "a lot" is two words. Second, Phily, Minn, and Detroit needed a QB and all passed on Beck. Why? Most NFL boards, according to Jaws on ESPN, had Beck as the 3 or 4th best QB in this draft. Beck has a weaker arm and piled up massive stats against inferior competition. He is a system QB (as is most BYU QB's). Also, I keep reading the mornons on these boards that say "we got a QB at much less money..or 1/2 price"...???Money is allocated based on draft position, not position on the field. We will be paying Ginn the #9 going price...the same amount that Quinn would have got at the #9 position. Yeah, we are paying Beck less than we would have paid Quinn..however we are paying Ginn to stand on cruches, in a boot #9 money when he signs. Several major web sites are quoting sources that say there is a chance that Ginn will not be ready for camp in July!!!! YOU DO NOT TAKE A PLAYER AT #9, REGARDLESS OF POSITION, WITH A NON-HEALING INJURY (ask Grant Hill about foot injuries). Wakeup!
You're a funny guy. You post to correct someone's spelling, and then call people 'mornons'. Back to the draft: I think Brady Quinn was over-hyped. I think Cam and Randy did their homework on the QB's. Think next year is going to be a lot better. Go Dolphins.

Peterson is a dumba**! He should have been smart and tried to get a 5th rounder at best. Now we just wait for Trent to refuse to come to camp or get cut and sign him for no draft pick. LOL!!! He must think Spielman and Wanny are still here.

I must admit I bought into the ESPN hype and I owe Camueller an apology. Thanks to some posts here I found out what youtube is and saw what Ginn and Beck are about...wow! All you whinners turn in your tickets so I'll be able to get a choice of seats.I live in the Tampa bay area and I'm getting ready to retire. I'm 57 and been a fan since day one and it's refreshing to see something positive for a change
I see a much improved team {speed kills}!!!
Also thanks goes out to you people who turn me on to youtube.

Good post and nice(!!) indeed. I only question his durability with being as tall and as light (relative to the others you mentioned). If he could put on a couple of pounds without losing that 4.2 speed, I think it would benefit him while taking those shots from defenders. I'm REALLY beginning to like this cat, man!!!

Carl Peterson is a jerk!
Carl Peterson is brilliant, Trent Green is worth more the a 6th round draft pick. Trent is known for being a outstanding person and a player. If he refuses to play for the Chiefs, He is an Idiot and a punk.
Carl Preterson is just doing his job, Miami G.m is the idiot if he does get Trent Green, it will be the end of the preseason when Green didn't havr
a chance to practice with the team

Dennis Green didn't want him with his new team out in Arizona.
The only one that wanted him was the new kid on a tight allowance. Dick Satan.
Truth - you've had some good posts, but you need to stop being so obsessed with Culpepper. Yes, he's here. For how long, who knows? Cameron has not named Culpepper as a starter, nor has he even said what they'll do with him. So relax my friend, chances are Culpepper's stay in Miami is coming to an end - especially if they add Green to the roster.

LMAO - for the first time in a long time, our GM isn't going to waste valuable draft picks on a player destined to be released.$7.2M - concussion - signed backup to long-term lucrative contract - yeah, all that means Green will be K.C.'s starter next year. Give me a break! I thought it was quite nice of Mueller to even offer to compensate K.C. for their own self-infliced predicament by "giving" them anything for a player they will pickup once released anyway. Yes, Peterson is doing his job, but so is Mueller, and for the first time in a long time, our GM is winning at negotiating and doing things right.

Peterson has to be so proud of his knowlegde of supply and demand! he can wait it all out, and if the fins dontr get Green, CHIEFS wont get anything for Green anyways, even if they keep him this year! Fins wont want him Next year, Green will retire soon, and then what do the chiefs get? 0!!!! No picks, and they get to hang on to someone who doesnt want to be there! Talk about screwing up chemistry! Do you think he is gonna help Broyle if Chiefs keep him? NO WAY! Will Trent restructure his contract for the chiefs to be a 3rd stringer? NO WAY. Only way he is happy with Chiefs is oif they START him from day 1. ANd KEEP him in. OR let him go. So, at this pojnt Chiefs will get NOTHING for Trent green green, whether they keep him, or release him! Pissing your Starting QB off and denying him what he has earned sure is showing him how MUCh Peterson values him not only as a person, but as a player who has given so much to the chiefs franchise! Only thing Peterson is doimng right now is Holding Trent Hostage, keeping him on a team Trent knows doesnt really want him , cant afford him, Keepoing him from going to a team that DOES want him, and he wants to be with. If there was other teams TRENT was willing to go to, then Peterson would have a case, but there isnt. When Peterson realizes, if he DOES value Trent, he will let Trent go where he desires to finish his career, out of respect for his player. Especially when he should knpow, HE ISNT GONNA GET ANYTHING anyways NO PICKS. SO let Trent go where he wants.
