Green will be a Dolphin. We may have to wait until June or July, but Miami will end up with him. This battle with KC really reminds me of what happened last year in the battle with the Lions for Harrington. Saban blinked and gave them a 6th rounder(which turned into a 5th rounder) because he didn't want to wait until June to get him for free. With Beck, Lemon and possibly Culpepper, I see Mueller waiting this out. Miami will end up with Green.

Way to go Cam and Randy, don't give into Peterson's demands and pick him up for free in June. Maybe by then Culpepper will be healthy and we won't need Green.

Carl....OH CARL...you just cost your team a 2007 6th, and if ya keep poppin' off, yer gunna cost 'em our 2008 6th, which we may give ya just to get Green into these early camps.

Without a doubt, this was the worst draft in years for the Fins. As a lifelong Dolphin fan, I am amazed we passed on a franchise quarterback like Brady Quinn. He is smart, a leader and will be a future star for the Browns. I see no future in an injured Duante Culpepper or any of the backups. Trent Green is okay-but has only about 2-3 years left. Certainly this isn't a franchise quarterback. This will haunt the Dolphins like the DAllas/Minnesota Herschel Walker fiasco years back. Unbelieveable. I hope the coach is better than his drafting ability. Brian

Randy, please say we can wait to get Trent when he is released since he knows the type of offense Coaches Cameron and Shea are running this season, Wait until June 1st we don't have to give KC anything for Trent Green he has said he wants to play for Miami, I know Daunte is still working hard to get 100% why can't we keep Daunte as back up this season, and keep Beck as our 3rd string QB since he is our second round pick and a good pick Randy after Dol-fans booed when you and Coach Cameron selected Ginn, JR. I was not surprised since we traded our punt returner to New England who just got Moss `

Another great pick up as this guy is one hit away from drinking through a straw. Can the Dolphins Hire Bill Parcells to simply consult as this organization seems to be making alot of stupid decisions over the past few years

Why would the Dolphins offer anything now unless to expedite things, so that they get something for Culpepper?

Yes... Green may eventually end up in Miami, but don't expect KC to cut him before the final cut to 53 for the first regular season game - if then. If Miami really wants him to start the season with the Phins, They need to pony up. And dont think KC won't carry Green at his current contract either - they paid Priest Holmes over 5 mil last year to loaf and watch the tube in San Antonio. The 3rd QB in KC never took a snap last year, and that was with #1 on the bench.

I can not believe how stupid KC's office is. They should of taken a 7th round pick. Now they will get nothing. I want to play poker with these idiots. Waiting for KC to blink? They already have both eyes closed.

It's amusing how the Patriots continue to out class us in every catagory. By passing on Quinn a message was sent drectly to the fans. It said "we don't care". How can Wayne sit back and watch the thousands upon thousands os merchandising dollars go out the window,

The worst draft ever? LOL! You got Ginn, Beck in the 1st 2 rounds! How can that be considered bad? That is awsome.

Green will be OK for a year or two until Beck develops. The Dolphins picked great performers and kids with great character. Green will be a great "player coach" like Kosar was during the Marino years.

Nope, the Dolphins did OK. Wait this Trent Green thing out and don't give in to KC. GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Well, there's no guarantee that Brady will workout fo you just because you draft him at #1. Look at Leaf and other QBs that have been drafted high and have failed miserably. I think the Fins did a pretty good job with the draft and it won't surprise me to see Beck become something more than what everyone thinks he is.

Funny, the things I've read about Quinn are nothing to write home about and most folks label him average. I think you have been watching the ESPN hype machine for way too long. Anyways, no one will ever know if we did or did not make a mistake until Quinn starts playing and making a difference. Till then, I give the Fins and the coaching staff a thumbs up for trying to do what is best for this team.

Just for the record I was a BIG Brady Quinn fan at Notre Dame, but I don't know why everyone keeps banking on that he is going to be a franchise QB and do all these great things. He still has to prove that Miami made a bad decision before everyone can slam the door on the new coach. From many sources before the draft Brady Quinns' stock had fallen and Becks had risen a great amount. No doubt Beck will be the man within the next two years whether Trent is here or not. We will have to wait and see.
